Cultural change around open source is a big project and we cannot do it alone. We need your help! We're looking for coders, designers, writers, facilitators, and more. Whatever your skills, we welcome your involvement. Please volunteer to help us out:

It’s easy to be misunderstood online, and emojis only get you so far 😩. Maintainers need to be aware of their communication styles. Read more about creating healthy communications cultures in our Berlin 2019 Event Report buff.ly/2JhC8VF
Burnout is real. Between the constant demand for fixes, the lack of outside contributions, and, oh yes, their day jobs, maintainers are under a lot of stress. Learn how we can help nurture a culture of sustainable self-care in our Berlin 2019 Event Report buff.ly/2JkjzjC
Maintenance is boring. Help us to encourage creating a culture where maintainers and maintenance is celebrated as much as innovation and novelty. Learn more in our Berlin 2019 Event Report buff.ly/2vRdOqv

Request for help: did you program using COBOL in the 1960s? If so, my documentarian friend @melissapierce would like to ask you a few questions about what the software development process writing COBOL looked like—your regular day-to-day work, meetings, etc. Thanks in advance!
