Latest musings on life back home after Emilia's #stroke. Fundraising has been humbling, incredible, and never not embarrassing, but needs must. Almost 10k. Still going if you know anyone with spare coins! crowdfunder.co.uk/p/a-safe-a… warrioremilia.substack.com/p…

A safe, accessible home for Emilia

Emilia is 4 and has suffered a major stroke which has left her unable to walk, talk and live a normal life. We are raising money to help her

She survived. Not entirely sure how, but she made it. The future is pretty uncertain; she’ll spend 3 months @Childrens_Trust soon, so we’re praying they can help rediscover movement. Embarrassed to say that we have set up a fundraiser to help. crowdfunder.co.uk/p/a-safe-a…

Dear internet. My darling four-year-old is fighting for her life after a massive stroke 8 days ago. She has Down’s Syndrome but has until now been living a normal, happy, joyful life with her mummy, dada and brother. I need hope. I need examples of recovery from similar cases 🧵

Most of all, pray for Emilia. She has so much more to give. Everyone who meets her is charmed and changed; a magical gift of a girl. She can and will play a part in all our futures. Hold her in your hearts and tell the universe to send light and power and strength to her.

I need progressive, tech-minded neurologists to see this tweet and give me hope that my expectation of AI’s impact on medicine - in the next 3 years, transform for the better the treatment of strokes in children - is correct.

Have moved on after many happy years at CricViz to build the team and products @sportcortech. Looking to expand our engineering team asap: embedded systems engineers who want to build the next smart cricket ball, get in touch. Hiring in UK but open to remotes.

The front page of the Sun before the 2010 World Cup match. Working as ESPN it was suggested we take this down off the wall as it might offend visiting corporate dignatories. We forgot. #USAvENG #ENGvUSA #QuatarWorldCup2022

What we have just seen was a crisis newsflash of a Conservative chancellor, not announcing emergency action because of a foreign war, or measures in a global pandemic but measures against itself. Not a virus or a tyrant, the actor in this case was the UK Government.
