Our work on bispecifics in plasma cell leukemia is now published. Talquetamab showed markedly better outcomes than BCMA bispecifics in patients with active PCL (≥5% circulating PCs), including those who were BCMA-naive. With virtually no prospective trial data in this space, this striking signal may help inform treatment choice. authors.elsevier.com/sd/arti… #mmsm @DrKrinaPatel @MDAndersonnews @MyelomaSLC @RahulBanerjeeMD @Transplant_Doc

Agree with Dr. Landau @MSKCancerCenter #ASH25 You cannot make a diagnosis of “MGRS” without a renal biopsy. And on a renal biopsy you need to have proof of a specific pathology (see Table) that’s attributable to a monoclonal protein.

Tec Dara for transplant ineligible newly diagnosed myeloma. Very impressive results with early step down to Q4W Tec dosing and high IVIG use to make tolerable. Good to hear that plans to move to Q8w Tec and fixed duration #ASH25

1/ Making #ASH25 myeloma abstract list getting tougher than ever! My rubric for this 'Top 10' list: Abstracts that challenge how I think about #MMsm.. well worth the trek to Orlando! Kudos to all authors for excellent research, including of many abstracts not mentioned here 👏

Great to see this paper out! #mmsm Sequential targeting of GPRC5D and BCMA in MM with talquetamab bridging is a great strategy ✅ effective ✅ no increased toxicity with CAR-T
🎉Finally out🎉 Talquetamab bridging is feasible, safe and effective allowing rapid disease control with minimal grade toxicity @BloodPortfolio ashpublications.org/blood/ar… #mmsm

This was a very practical poster at #ASH24, looking at prolonged dosing intervals of teclistamab, which is very relevant as dosing of tec (and other bispecific antibodies) moves to q4 week (or even longer intervals). New recommendation: if dosing interval ≤62 days, no need to repeat step up dosing! @AlGarfall doi.org/10.1182/blood-2024-2…
