Cancelled remakes of Shenmue I & II, indeed show that @SEGA was exploring alternative ways of working with the series. 🧐🍢 So on some level, #Shenmue must still be of value to the Higher Ups at the company. Why these planned remakes were cancelled, the reasons are unclear, but the video speaks for itself... Video credit - Shenmue Master ( Link: youtu.be/o4jNHoY1TPE?si=DsOv… )

COME ON @SEGA - HELP FINISH #SHENMUE You know @YSNET_Inc want to get this thing done. Old series have been revived which is awesome. You say you're about lore and innovation? So why not get #Shenmue finished? Why not support #ShenmueAnime2? #LetsGetShenmue4

It took me over 20 years to find an S&K console bundle, but I was so happy to finally have it in my hands a few years ago. It's still one of the best moments of my gaming life and the crown jewel of my collection.

Hold your hands up all those who remember when @elonmusk was involved with @SEGA CD games? 🧐 Notably the titles, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs: The Second Cataclysm and Loadstar: The Legend of Tully Bodine, while he worked at Rocket Science Games.
