Among the prisoners at the Dresden Stasi prison was Michael Schlosser, who secretly built a homemade airplane hoping to fly to freedom in the West.
The Stasi discovered his plan before he could take off. He was arrested and sentenced to 4½ years in prison.
Imagine risking everything just for the chance to be free. That was life behind the Iron Curtain.
Growing up in Mao’s China, it never entered my mind that escape was possible. I later learned many people tried to swim across the channel to Hong Kong. Most didn’t make it; many drowned.

Manuel Valenzuela, an illegal alien from Mexico, was sentenced to 5 years in prison for drugging children and smuggling them over the US border.
Valenzuela used candy laced with THC to sedate the children, then gave false documents to officers claiming to be the parent.

I never thought this would happen to me. Caught on Tesla dashcam today (July 6) around 5:18pm in the Lower East Side.
She walked straight up to my parked white Tesla at 171 E Broadway, tore the plate straight off, then casually walked away… and later strolled right back past the spot like nothing happened.
