Freelancers: `hours × rate` is not a safe project price.
It ignores revisions, uncertainty, project costs, and the work clients assume is included.
So we built BriefRate—a free freelance project pricing calculator.
Made by freelancers, for freelancers. 🧵
i still don't get why Siri AI exists on the Apple Watch?
it makes Siri insanely slow and dumb on the Apple Watch, since it now has to rely more on your iPhone to process the info, and many commands like “how many steps I walked” or “how much did I sleep” don’t even work anymore
it takes a good 10 seconds to set a damn timer

most people think building a personal brand on X takes 3-6 months
i did it in 14 days
→ 4.2K followers
→ 1.5M views
in this video, i break down exactly how i did it and how you can do it too:
The fact that, as an entrepreneur, half of the success of whatever you build comes down to marketing is kind of scary…
V2 just got submitted for review! Hopefully it comes back very soon. Part of why I took a break from developing was because of how outrageous the app review wait times became. But I’m optimistic about this one 😼

most launch videos flop for the same 4 reasons:
➡️ spinning logo. stock music. feature list over a static screenshot. captions nobody reads on mute.
so i built a skill that makes Claude storyboard, animate, and score your video like a motion designer. it rebuilds your actual app screens from your repo, site, or screenshots.
giving it away free.

This past week was one for the books. First of all, I made my first internet money, with no marketing for my app. It was a random day…someone found my app on the App Store and just…subscribed. It was a weird feeling because I hadn’t touched the app in almost 3 months.
That person’s action lit a fire in me. If someone can see such an ugly app (didn’t perfect V1, was just testing a concept) and thought it provided them enough value to put their hard earned money into it, then I have more work to do.
I have to create something better and more thoughtful for them and all future subscribers. Also this past week, I was lucky to stumble on some valuable content from @tobiadonadon_ which also played a huge part in the coming V2 update. On top of that, @frederickjames provided me with some great feedback from his own experiences.
In summary, it feels like it’s all finally coming together. Whoever my first subscriber is, they don’t know it yet but they’ve opened up a world for me, and I can only say thank you and there’s much more coming for you ❤️

i built a skill to help get you app approved and launched
apple reviews are becoming a real problem
after launching 2 apps, i got tired of dealing with app store guidelines, keyword research, screenshots, etc etc etc
so i built a skill for claude code and codex that automates almost the entire process
it's called app launcher
you just drop it into your app's folder and type “run”
it will:
→ read your code and fix potential app store rejection issues
→ research competitors and find the best keywords for your listing
→ generate professional app store screenshots using your real app
→ create your app preview video and launch materials
→ analyze your ads and improve your onboarding and paywall after launch
basically, everything between having a working app and getting it in front of real users
completely free (i should charge for it)
retweet + comment "launcher" and i'll send you the skill

i built a skill to un-slop ai-looking web apps
many of you asked the web app version
most ai-generated uis don’t look bad anymore
they just all feel like they came from the same designer:
same motion language
same glossy gradients
same startup-dashboard structure
same safe, forgettable taste
this skill changes the process completely
claude or codex has to come up with an actual visual idea first
→ explore multiple directions
→ commit to one
→ build the screens at real iphone size
→ then inspect the result and remove the obvious ai tells
it’s less “generate me an app” and more “design something with a point of view”
took me 10 hours to create this but i’m still giving the full skill away for free
rt + comment “web slop” and i’ll send it over

I just want to do. Sometimes I get stuck building and building. I need to cultivate the habit of shipping
I’m trying to stop measuring software progress by how much changed.
A product can have:
10 new features
a redesigned dashboard
better animations
more integrations
and still be no more useful than it was a month ago.
A better question is:
“What can the user accomplish now that they couldn’t before?”
If the answer is unclear, the changelog might be growing faster than the product.
The calculator is free.
If you want the complete private scope tool, it’s US$9 once—no subscription.
It runs locally in your browser, and client details don’t need to be uploaded.
