No one thinks that socialism means "free stuff."
Socialism means we want our taxes spent on providing benefits to our citizens instead of killing little girls in Iran or murdering fishermen on the high seas.
I think little things like feeding our children and providing health care for toddlers is more important than locking them up in detention centers because there parents were brought over here 20 years when they were toddlers.
I would rather my tax dollars were spent on providing kids in school internet access than giving money to Elon Musk to pay for more failed rockets.
No one thinks any of that shit is free. Some of it is just worth spending our money on and some of it is.
