A note small enough to hide in a fist, with a tiny crown drawn beside the name. The plate on the truck behind it is in Persian.
Small as it is, being caught with it inside Iran could mean prison, or worse: this regime executes people for opposing it. They held it out anyway and said the words out loud, so President Trump would hear them.
Their ask: meet Prince Reza Pahlavi, the man Iranians want to lead them once the Islamic Republic is gone.

It looks like a quiet evening. But in Iran, a video like this found on your phone can cost you your freedom.

Inside Iran, people risk prison and even execution to film these. Outside, it can be said freely, so it is being said for the ones who cannot.

Then the paper drops and the camera shows you what was behind it: rooftops and apartment blocks all the way to the hills, under a clear blue sky. Demonstrating that the video is being sent from Iran.
Every one of those buildings is full of people the Islamic Republic claims to speak for. This is one of them speaking for themselves, and what they ask is that President Trump meets Prince Reza Pahlavi, the man Iranians want to lead them once the regime is gone.

They say it in English and they start with thank you. No slogan and no shouting. Gratitude first, and then one request.
Trump has found room on his calendar for the regime's negotiators. There is room on it for Prince Reza Pahlavi too, the man Iranians have chosen to lead them and the man this sheet asks him to meet.

Azadi means freedom. The tower is the best known landmark in Iran's capital.

Three lines. Meet Prince Reza Pahlavi, the man Iranians want to lead them in place of the Islamic Republic. Give the people the means to stand up to the regime. And know exactly where this is coming from.

Yes, this happened on January 8 and 9. And the most horrific part is that this was only one of the regime’s atrocities during those days.

Alireza Sepahi got married in prison. The next day, the regime in Iran executed him.
He married Mahshad Kashani while facing a death sentence. They were denied even a final meeting as husband and wife. She is serving five years in prison. Now she must grieve her husband behind bars.
The Islamic Republic executed Alireza alongside another detained protester, Alireza Raeesi.
These were two people with families and futures. Remembering their names matters. So does holding those responsible for their deaths accountable.
