The next time you hear the NFL speak on “player safety” just assume that they have no access to the internet at their offices.
Saints are scheduled to leave tonight for Paris, where they play the Steelers next Sunday at Stade de France. Despite intense riots and social unrest there, the NFL says the game is on.
“Preparations continue as scheduled for NFL events and the game at Stade de France next Sunday,” the NFL said. “We continue to work closely with local authorities and partners on all operational and security matters. We are also providing the two clubs with regular updates. There’s been no disruption or impact at league sites.”

“Have you seen the Muslims with their turbans and their djellabas? You can see they are not French. Try to integrate oil and vinegar. Shake the bottle. After a moment they separate again. The Arabs are Arabs, the French are French. Do you think that the French can absorb ten million Muslims who will tomorrow be twenty million and after tomorrow forty? … My village would no longer be called Colombey-les-deux-Eglises but Colombey-the-two-Mosques.”

FLORIDA MIGHT BE THE BIGGEST FINANCIAL TRAP IN AMERICA…
Moved here thinking I was escaping expensive states. No state income tax. Lower cost of living. Sunshine year round. Everyone made it sound like I’d finally get to keep more of my paycheck.
Then came the homeowners insurance renewal. Then the property taxes. Then the HOA fees. Then car insurance, groceries, utilities, rent, and every other expense that somehow costs more than expected.
You save money on state income taxes, but one insurance renewal can wipe out a huge chunk of those savings. And if you own a house, the property taxes and HOA fees never stop coming.
At this point, Florida isn’t “cheap.” It’s just an expensive state with better marketing.
PEOPLE KEEP BRAGGING ABOUT NO STATE INCOME TAX, BUT HOW MUCH MONEY ARE YOU ACTUALLY KEEPING? 🤨

There are certain decisions that will go down as history-defining moments. This is one of them. It's a terrible misjudgment of Putin, who has made it clear he wants to destroy the West. We shouldn't help him do it.

Ok, here’s the deal. If he commits a crime or terrorist act while on parole, the entire board who made the decision goes to jail for life.

I say you’re being deliberately callous about the fact such actions would greatly increase the likelihood of mass slaughter and rape of innocent people, greenlighting the imperial ambitions of our adversary, embolden another adversary China, and further imperil our allies in Europe and Asia. If that’s your policy preference I can’t talk you out of it. But I don’t think it’s a good look or good for your soul to be so glib about the consequences of your ill-argued and poorly reasoned policy preferences. You could at least try to feign some regret at the horrors you’re encouraging.

There's been a lot of hysteria over the years at Trump's posture towards Russia, which has often been worse rhetorically than practically. But this time, the wolf comes as a wolf.

If you really believed this @SenThomTillis you and your Republican Congressional colleagues would call for Trump’s immediate impeachment and removal from office.
Beyond irresponsible. What part of enforcing a law passed 86-11 by the Senate does the President and his advisors not understand? It’s unconscionable that this administration is capitulating to a Russian dictator who illegally invaded Ukraine and butchers innocent civilians every single day. If the President wants to actually bring down energy prices, he can do it by solving the Iran problem, not by doing a solid for Vladimir Putin.
