¿Iba a doler?

Mi absoluto respeto a quienes necesitan asistencia. Pero si hay quienes se aprovechan, la picardía criolla terminará perjudicando a quienes verdaderamente la necesitan. ¿Coincidencia, necesidad real o una práctica que merece investigarse? ¿Y tú qué piensas?

On Saturday 31 May 2025, Josh Hobbs, 35, and his wife Hannah Lloyd Hobbs, 34, from Rhayader in Powys, were on holiday, enjoying a quiet walk with their dog along the River Thames near Lechlade. They were barely ten minutes in when an almighty bang rang out. Hannah thought it might be a confetti cannon. Josh wondered if a gas barbecue had gone up. Then came the screams. A boat had drifted out into the middle of the river and was engulfed in f*ames. Those on board shouted that they couldn’t swim. Josh and Hannah urged them to jump anyway. Among them was an 18 month old baby. Hannah dived straight in, reached the little one, passed the baby to Josh, then stayed with the child on the bank. Josh went back into the water and brought two young children to safety. At one point, he had four people hanging off him as he fought to stay afloat and shouted for help. The explosion had been heard for miles, and members of the public raced to the scene to help pull everyone out and give first aid. Only when the air ambulance crews arrived did the couple finally let themselves breathe. Nine people, five adults and four children aged from 18 months to seven, were taken to hospital .Sadly, two of them, including the toddler, suffered potentially life changing burns. But everyone survived. Detective Superintendent Joe Garrity of Wiltshire Police said it was a miracle there were no fatalities , crediting much of that to two holidaymakers from Wales who happened to be passing. He called it “heroic bravery.” The couple simply said they were in the “right place at the right time.” Hannah added: “We hope the families are doing OK and wish them a speedy recovery.” No medals . No fanfare. Just two ordinary people who didn’t hesitate.

IT specialist father-of-two, 42, named as man who plunged to his death from Six Flags Over Georgia roller coaster as harrowing new details of his awful final moments emerge. • KEY POINTS • Kariem was found on a nearby roof after falling from the coaster, which goes at 70 miles per hour and drops twice — once at 170 feet and another at 175 feet. Kariem worked for Wesly International Academy in the Atlanta Public Schools (APS) system. APS said in astatement that his “presence and impact will be deeply missed by our students, staff, and all those whose lives he touched.” Police said Kariem was ejected from the ride and struck other patrons before falling beneath the attraction. Several people were stuck on the coaster after the incident and had to be helped to the ground. The park shut down after the death. More people on the coaster were injured, but the exact number of victims and the extent of their injuries are unknown. Before Monday’s incident, Six Flags Over Georgia has had at least seven deaths. since its opening in 1967, according to The Doan Law Firm, which tracks amusement park deaths. Since the latest death, Six Flags has temporarily closed nine roller coasters across six parks “out of an abundance of caution.” Officials said the affected attractions are similar to Goliath, which only uses a lap bar to secure riders. In a statement, Six Flags said it’s cooperating with the police investigation. “We are deeply saddened by the guest incident at our park today. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with the guest’s family, friends, and loved ones. We are also providing support to the guests and team members affected,” the spokesperson said. “The park team and local authorities responded immediately, and we are cooperating fully with local authorities as they complete their investigation. Out of respect for the family’s privacy, we will not be sharing additional details at this time.” Six Flags over Georgia is closed Tuesday. The park reopens on Friday, according to their website.

Hassan Jihad Ibn Kariem, the man who was flung from a Six Flags rollercoaster in Georgia, survived a car fire just a few weeks ago. > Survived a car fire with his daughter. > Survived cancer twice. > Survived a difficult fight with Covid-19. > Died after being flung from a Six Flags rollercoaster. He was riding the Goliath rollercoaster with his son while his wife and daughter watched from below when he was thrown from the ride. Absolutely devastating.

This is a parent’s worst nightmare. A man was ejected from his seat and fell to his death from the Goliath hypercoaster at Six Flags Over Georgia, reportedly right in front of his son on the ride while his wife and daughter watched from the ground. Multiple witnesses at the Austell park say he struck the ride structure several times as he fell, and other traumatized guests pulling back into the station were screaming that his restraint was completely unlatched and unlocked. How does a flagship, 200-foot-tall coaster train return to the platform with an empty, fully unlatched seat while park security forces emergency evacuations and threatens to kick out anyone taking photos? Six Flags can drop all the corporate, cookie cutter "deeply saddened" statements they want, but a mechanical failure this catastrophic demands immediate, brutal accountability. Absolute gross negligence.

🚨 This guy walked into a Cabot, Arkansas farmstand yesterday and helped himself to an armful of fresh baked goods… without paying a single dollar. Root & Rise is a small, family-run honor-system farmstand owned by Amber and Brett. They bake slow-rise sourdough loaves, brownies, pies, cinnamon rolls, bagels, and other from-scratch treats. Yesterday this man loaded up and walked off with a huge armful of their work. Honor system does not mean free. When someone does this, it doesn’t just hit Amber and Brett—it hits the whole family’s hard work, the early mornings, the effort, the ingredients, and the trust that lets small farmstands like this even exist. These hits add up fast for small businesses just trying to make a living. 😞 If you recognize him or know anything, Amber and Brett would appreciate the help. Support the local people who actually bake and stock these stands. 💪 #TheHopeFiles #CabotAR

In 2022, 19 year old Dylan Rounds was chasing a dream most kids his age never would. He'd bought a piece of land in the empty desert of northwest Utah, near the Nevada line, to start his own farm. Just him, a tractor, and miles of nothing. On May 28, 2022, Memorial Day weekend, he called his grandmother from the farm. Nobody ever heard from him again. His family drove out. His truck was there. Dylan wasn't. Searchers found a pair of his boots nearby. Later, deputies pulled his phone out of a pond. Volunteers poured into that desert. Week after week, they combed the sagebrush with dogs, drones, and ground radar. And one of the people helping them search was a 60 year old man named James Brenner. He was squatting in a trailer on the land next to Dylan's. He'd even lived on Dylan's property for a while, helping him bale hay. During the search, he talked with Dylan's family. He told them where he thought Dylan might be. Two months in, the FBI named him a suspect. One of Dylan's boots had a bloodstain on it. The DNA came back as a mix of Dylan's and Brenner's. In March 2023, Brenner was charged with murder. But he wouldn't say where the body was. Without it, Dylan's family had nothing to bury. For almost two years, he stayed silent. Then in 2024, he took a plea deal. In exchange for a reduced charge, he led investigators into the desert near Lucin and showed them where he'd hidden Dylan's remains. Dylan had been shot in the head. His mother said she later learned Brenner had been angry about where Dylan parked. At sentencing, Brenner never turned around to face the family. He had walked those same hills with them, searching for a boy he knew was already gone.

Baby Aniyah was a twin born with her brain outside her skull. Doctors said she likely wouldn’t survive after birth. She did. She survived surgery, only to stop breathing a few days later. They turned off all the machines and prepared to say goodbye. One week later, Baby Aniyah went home to be with her family. 4 months later she was lifting her head, smiling, laughing, and despite doctor predictions, breathing on her own. Beautiful Aniyah shows us that every life is worth living.

🚨#BREAKING: Outrage is erupting in Houston after a mother just SH0T and K*LLED her OWN DAUGHTER instead of handing her over to the girl's father after losing custody... ...and the court had ruled she couldn't even be ALONE with that child!!! The girl went home with her anyway and the mother k*lled her. Yes, you read that right. The court itself decided this mother could not be trusted alone with her child. And then her child went home with her, alone, anyway. Her name was Vivian Savella. She was 4 years old. Her family says she was "loved without limit." On Tuesday, September 29th, there was a custody hearing in Houston. Vivian's father, Aaron, had spent that whole case doing it the right way. In his family's words: "He trusted the courts. He followed every order. He waited for the process to work." And on Tuesday, it finally did. A judge gave Aaron primary custody of Vivian... the right to decide where she lived, her medical care, her schooling. The mother? Court documents say she was "awarded possession of the child only when continuously supervised." Vivian was supposed to be handed over to her dad that night. She never made it. ...but it gets worse According to the father's attorney, the court never spelled out HOW that handoff was supposed to happen. The supervision was supposed to come through a court-appointed agency, but the ruling had JUST come down... and no supervisor was with Vivian and her mother that day. So after the hearing, police say, Vivian and her mother went home. To the same townhome on Terra Reserve Place. Her stepfather and a babysitter were downstairs. Just before 6 that evening, they heard gunshots from the third floor. They forced their way into Vivian's room. Her stepfather tried CPR. Vivian didn't make it. Her mother had SH0T herself too. She later passed away at the hospital. A judge put it in writing that this mother could not be alone with Vivian. Hours later, she was. And now a father who did everything the law asked of him is burying his little girl. Say her name. Vivian Savella. WE DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE LIKE THIS!!!!!!!

For those feeling sorry and protesting Christa Pike’s execution tomorrow, this is what she did 30 years ago. The picture is Christa Pike at 18. She lured 19-year-old Colleen Slemmer into the woods because she thought the girl was after her boyfriend. She and that boyfriend then tortured her - beating her, cutting her, carving a pentagram into her chest, slashing her throat as Colleen begged for her life - and Christa smashed her head with a rock. Pike kept a piece of Colleen’s skull and showed it off later. The 17-year-old boyfriend got life. Pike got death. After 30 years, Tennessee is set to carry it out tomorrow. That’s what she did. That’s why she’s on the list. Justice finally for Colleen Slemmer tomorrow.

My husband is a pilot. He said pilots have a switch right next to them that unlocks the cockpit door from the inside. So Captain Smit Machchhar probably didn’t just scream for help. He likely hit that switch before he went down, so the flight attendants and passengers could actually get in. If the door stays locked, nobody saves that plane. Kudos to him. That one move helped save a cabin full of people.
Captain Smit Machchhar is a hero among heroes. His brave actions aboard the FlyDubai flight this morning saved countless lives and may well have prevented a cataclysmic regional war
