College sports changed Sophia Stylianos' life. Now she’s standing up to make sure the next generation has that same opportunity. Protecting women’s sports and Olympic sports is a huge part of the Protect College Sports Act. We’ve built an amazing bipartisan coalition of athletes, coaches, and senators to save the institution of college sports. The Senate has now cleared a key procedural hurdle, with 74 senators voting to support moving to the bill. It’s time for the Senate to finish the job and pass the Protect College Sports Act, ensuring President Trump can sign the bill on College GameDay this fall. College sports cannot afford more uncertainty.

We just had a tremendous bipartisan vote in the Senate to advance the Protect College Sports Act. Seventy-four senators voted to move forward. That bipartisan vote is a major step toward protecting student athletes, bringing order to college sports, and preserving the institution. Great to be in Austin to watch the Longhorns pull off a historic comeback over No. 1 Ohio State. Games like that are exactly why college sports is too precious to lose. We’ve got to make sure this remains an avenue for opportunity for millions of kids. What this bill prohibits is a booster in a back alley just showing up with a bag of cash and doing things under the table. It’s got to be real NIL. There’s got to be real value.
