I’m excited to share that my team and I emerged as the winners of the MIVA AI Hackathon 2026, securing 1st place and the ₦1.5 million grand prize. As the Software Engineer on the team, I was responsible for building the product that powered our solution from turning our ideas into a working application to ensuring we had a functional product ready to present.

My brother was murdered by people shouting “Allahu Akbar,” killing in the name of their God and claiming to fight for the establishment of Islamic law... This is a pain I may carry for the rest of my life. A trauma that will live in my memories, shape my future, and leave scars that words may never fully explain. I fear that this pain may be passed down to my children, my grandchildren, and even my great-grandchildren 💯 Islamic extremism and the failures of Nigeria took my brother from me… And nothing will ever be able to give my family back what we have lost 💯💯 💔

My brother in the military has just been killed by Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP)….💔💔💔💔 Over 12 years serving his country has just ended by the Islamic terrorist…. 💔💔💔 Yeah, I'm broken…… 💔
