This is the heart of it. At the core of this is the destruction of French and the subjugation of its people by foreigners from a barbaric land.

Remember: Game designers in the 80s and 90s were computer science majors who loved literature, classic fantasy and AD&D. There is a very obvious reason the AAA market had been declining for so long. I don't need to spell it out.
Amazing advise for people who need it.
If you make a show of going against the times, flaunting your unconventional ideas and unorthodox ways, people will think that you only want attention and that you look down upon them. They will find a way to punish you for making them feel inferior. It is far safer to blend in and nurture the common touch. Share your originality only with tolerant friends and those who are sure to appreciate your uniqueness.

Never kill yourselves bros. Situations can change. It can get better. There's a way through.
Odd that a new way to recreate things is to verbally say let it be ...
Genesis 1, and God said, let there be light.
AI does not create though. The vocabulary we use is incorrect.

I'm always surprised by how many Americans don't know that their country's first war was against the Barbary pirates of North Africa.
They attacked American ships, captured and enslaved American sailors, and demanded tribute payments.
When Jefferson and Adams asked why Americans were being targeted, the Tripolitan ambassador justified it by citing the Quran, claiming that his religion gave them the right to wage war against those who didn't acknowledge their authority.

Friendly reminder: the world is run by high agency people, not smart people. Stop consuming information and start taking insane levels of action.
Not really understanding the hate Sony is getting for not making their current gen backwards compatible. They can do whatever they want and the same introspection is not directed at Xbox or Nintendo. They have to make money. There is little economic incentive to do this.
Jailbroken PS5 console managed to make PlayStation 2 games run on PS5 from disc, without even importing digital files🚀
This means Sony were deliberately keeping players from running their games that can work just fine, just so they can sell the games again on PS Store / PS+
Modders are also working on making PS3 games run from disc on PS5, also after Sony telling us it’s “hard” to do so, due to “different infrastructure”
And now you see how far Sony’s greed has gotten. XBOX could always run games from all past generations, full backwards compatibility, yet Sony somehow pretended it was hard, and they once pretended to be shocked as to “why would anyone wanna play old games”?
And there you have it, it’s greed. The same reason they wanna convince you discs are a niche market and don’t sell when data proved them wrong💿

I'm not a tech guy but I think it's become obvious that AI can only alter existing assets. When I was a kid we called these mods. It is impressive what AI can do but it's obvious that the creative spirit is still necessary.
I built Super Mario 64 as a Multiplayer in the browser.
For the record @Nintendo i made it so now you have to provide the ROM to play, instead of me providing it.
And also for the record I wished we lived in a different world where such old games can be remixed more freely for non-profit uses and that we find a path forward together with the publishers.
I think you're leaving a lot of energy on the table to honour, revive and live your cultural heritage.

Shot three times and bleeding to death, a White House guard pulled himself up and killed the man trying to ass*ssinate the President.
November 1, 1950. President Truman was living at Blair House while the White House was being rebuilt. He was upstairs taking an afternoon nap when two gunmen tried to shoot their way inside.
Officer Leslie Coffelt was in the guard booth at the corner. One of the attackers reached him first and fired point-blank. Three bullets tore into Coffelt's chest and stomach.
The other gunman rushed the front steps, until two more officers shot and dropped him there.
Coffelt was finished, and he knew it. But for the moment, his attacker had his back turned, reloading his weapon.
Coffelt dragged himself out of the booth, braced against it and only had to fire once. The shot hit the assassin behind the ear and dropped him dead on the sidewalk, thirty feet away.
Then Coffelt staggered back inside and collapsed. He died four hours later.
Truman never had a scratch. And Leslie Coffelt remains the only man guarding a president ever to die doing it.

Dana White says the only real hard work is working in construction at 115 degrees every day
"My oldest son is getting his master's degree in Boston right now. When I lived in Boston, I used to work for EJ Paving company. They pave roads. I actually want my son to go do some days at this paving company."
"I run around, I don't sleep much, and everybody's like, oh, you work so hard, you work so hard. No, no, no. I'll show you what hard work is. Hard work is construction. Hard work is concrete."
"I don't know how many days this summer were 115 degrees out. These construction guys are out there working in 115 degree weeks. That's hard work, real work. And then in the winter, people don't realize this in Vegas, but it gets down into the 30s. These guys will be outside working when it's 30 degrees out. Hard physical labor every day. Then you go home, you eat, you go to bed, you get up the next day and you go do it again."
"In your life, to figure out what you wanna do, you have to figure out what it is you don't wanna do."
