If you lift 5lbs, you’re a weight lifter
If you invest $5, you’re an investor
If you run 5 minutes, you’re a runner
If you sing for 5 minutes, you’re a singer
If you show up for 5 minutes, you’re present
You can be a lot of things.

when life feels like we’re constantly sprinting to the next thing—
what a gift it is to think: “i’m bored”
i’ve said ‘no’ to so many things in the past year. i now have freed up time at night to *actually* plan trips for my family + close friends.
and then go on them!

But, even in a new lifetime, you’d still want to explore the next.
Something new.

It was freeing. That sweetness of slowing down.
That of all the places to go, I know myself well enough that I’ll appreciate it.
No matter what the timing is.
