The first five of the 10 Commandments are bullshit. Disrespecting the Christian God (or any god) or one's parents (if they haven't earned your respect) is not wrong, QED sin is just an invented disease to sell a snake oil cure.

AI had been the standard term since 1956.
'Superintelligence' had a very specific and powerful meaning when Nick Bostrom wrote about it in 2014 - an AI that vastly exceeds human cognitive abilities across all domains.
Conflating these terms is very confusing, counterproductive, historically uninformed, and insulting to the hundreds of thousands of people who have worked on AI over the last 70 years.
This looks like a case of "Trump Derangement Syndrome" to me. Something I wrote and posted last year: lyonsnyc.medium.com/trump-de…
Trump is deranged; there are people who nonetheless admire him; therefore, Trump's admirers suffer from "Trump Derangement Syndrome." I see nothing wrong or inaccurate about this syllogism. lyonsnyc.medium.com/trump-de…

Trump is making decisions as president based on what will personally make him more money.
I’m old enough to remember when Fox News threw tantrums and Republicans called for endless hearings when Joe Biden received a $40,000 loan repayment check from his brother.
NEW: The Trump family’s sprawling business empire is increasingly intertwined with the AI boom, as the president resists calls to slow down development. w/ @ShiraOvide

Claiming science is "limited to the physical" rescues nothing. Evidence is limited to what can leave evidence. Any entity—physical or otherwise—that changes or impinges on reality should produce consequences. Perpetual undetectability isn't transcendence—it's evidential failure.
I won't weigh in on the latest Sydney Sweeney brouhaha, but here's something I wrote last year about that jeans/gene ad: medium.com/@lyonsnyc/sydney-…

The evidence is extremely weak. It's like saying there's evidence of vampires because a bunch of people claimed to see them 2000 years ago. Calling THAT evidence is a stretch and a half.

"it's out of context" is a weird defence and YEC can't play that card or they'd be smearing their own shit on the babble.
Saying the text is misrepresented is funny considering how every quote is divinely ordained . You'd think an omniscient deity would choose their words more carefully.
