hello! now that I’ve been at Business Insider for a couple of weeks, I’m really excited to share that I’m open to travel and food pitches 💐
please pitch me through this form, which also has more info about our rates and what we’re looking for:

maybe it’s bc I live in a city but I love LFLs so much!! super easy way to donate books you enjoyed but will never revisit again. I’ve seen duds but also found genuinely good books I never would’ve spent my own $ on. I’ve also met neighbors while dropping off/looking at books!!
once I started chatting with a sweet mom who told me she walks to LFLs every week to find a surprise book for her teen son who reads pretty much anything. I also met/befriended a woman who runs a LFL by me and she gave me a book (from her house!!) that she thought I’d like

Funny split reaction to this I’m seeing that’s SF ppl fretting that kids won’t “learn how to use ai” and NYC actual parents thrilled to be getting rid of crummy edtech programs that try to teach 1st graders reading via chatbot
this fictional bookstore that only carries Book of the Month editions
A closer look at Pete’s bookstore and a sneak peak at Gus’s novels “The Revelatories” and “Rochambeau” for the movie adaptation of “Beach Read”
Thank you @okayjasmine for sharing!
