Keeping the people of #Lahaina and #Maui in our thoughts. Know we have a significant Hawaiian population here in Las #Vegas - for many here, the #MauiFires hit close to home. Las Vegas is often called the 9th island of Hawaii because of our large Hawaiian contingent.

"The uplift you give to a city is what really matters. We delivered for this city." -George McPhee Mentioned it's more important than getting his name on the Cup, the memories with the players, all of it.

“We delivered. We delivered for this city.” - McPhee on what this championship means. He said his main regret from year one is that they weren’t able to win it all. Felt the city really needed it. And while he’s very happy to win personally, delivering for the city matters most

Just found out the backstory. These two kids lost their father in late March. Massive Knights fans. Zach reached out and invited them to the game and they came down from Reno this morning. Now he is giving them a tour of the locker room. This is what hockey is all about.
