I still don't understand how we went from "save the turtles, protect the environment, stop global warming" to "let's build datacenters"

Despite the severe weather conditions and the ongoing storm in Gaza, our team continued its humanitarian work today.
We carried out a bread-baking and distribution project, providing freshly baked bread along with one kilogram of rice to each beneficiary family. Through this initiative, we were able to support 200 families in Gaza.
We understand that what we provide is only a small part of the enormous needs of our people. However, we did everything within our available resources, believing that standing alongside our people is a responsibility that does not stop in difficult circumstances.
Even during severe weather conditions, we remain committed to continuing our work and providing whatever assistance we can, thanks to God and the generosity of everyone standing with us.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to all donors and supporters who make our humanitarian mission possible. Your support brings hope and makes a real difference in people's lives.
Together, we will continue to stand with the people of Gaza.

It took one night of rain for entire displacement camps in Gaza to flood. Urgent help needed: chuffed.org/project/113222-tโฆ
This morning, tens of thousands of families are facing another day of rain without shelter. The tents they slept in yesterday are underwater. The streets they would use to reach help are flooded and impassable.
We knew the tents were fragile. Even so, we were unprepared for this much destruction after the first rainfall. Families are still soaking wet, trying to salvage what they can and figure out where theyโll sleep tonight.
Please donate to The Sameer Projectโs winter response and help us get emergency shelter to families who lost theirs overnight. Give to our General Fund: chuffed.org/project/113222-tโฆ

It is anti-poor. Street vendors are by the working class for the working class.
Hindi naman mutually exclusive ang may street vendors at malinis.

Gaza with the first drops of rain this year..... #GazaIsFlooded

What is "anti-poor" is the inconsistency. Street vendors are normally tolerated there because they meet a need, but on whims, government can dismantle their carts back to the stone age kasi "alam nyo naman bawal e" as if di nila pinayagan in the first place

To be sure, there is much religious extremism in US politics. However, none of it is related to Islam, and all of it is related to an evangelical Christianity of the stripe used to advance white nationalist and Zionist goals. Indeed, Thomas Teepell, the man who insinuated in his question to El-Seyed that the Senate candidate is a crypto-Muslim Brother, acknowledged that he, himself, is a religious extremist, when he disagreed in his exchange with El-Seyed that the US Constitution is senior to his faith.
Like the Muslim Brotherhood, Teepell believes politics must be based on the laws of God. The only difference is that Teepell wants a politics based on a (white, nativist) Christian God and not a (brown-skinned, immigrant) Muslim God. As for El-Seyed, he believes US politics should be based on the US constitution, not religion.
Irritatingly, the Wall Street Journal managed to present this story in a way that associated El-Seyed and Islam with religious extremism, without identifying the religious extremism of Teepell, and at the same time failing to acknowledge the ubiquity of evangelical Christian extremism in US politics.
The truth of the matter is that Islamic political extremism is absent in US politics. Christian political extremism, on the other hand, is pervasive.

Pax Silica endorser thinks it was Enrile and Ramos who "led to the downfall of Marcos Sr" โ not the people who fought it, not even Cory who led the civil disobedience call a week before these two MFers broke away, not Butz & Sin who called on the people to go to EDSA. AI pa more.
Replying to @YEfx6D0vdZavRXV @zurlisch
Ok Ill bite.
Are Ramos and Enrile not part of Marcos Sr.'s administration? Arguably what led to the downfall of Marcos Sr. and martial law came from his own people.
