i didnt consider it as copying bcs the pics were only a month apart,illit’s team mustve been working on their concept for a while too. the styling was different as well. creative ppl can often anticipate the same trends,so it’s not unusual for them to draw from similar references
KiiiKiii’s magazine photoshoot dropped on March 4, while ILLIT’s “It’s Me” concept photos came out in April. They’re a month apart, and KiiiKiii’s shoot wasn’t even for a comeback. Context matters.

Swords have been used in MVs for years. Grimes’ Genesis (2012) is one example. KiiiKiii’s concept draws from the 2010s aesthetic, so I wouldn’t be surprised if kiiikiii team took inspiration from Grimes.
So by your logic, did ILLIT’s creative director take the concept from Red Velvet’s Ice Cream Cake? Attacking KiiiKiii over a photo of them eating fruit is ridiculous. Is that plagiarism now?
