Look up tonight. The Moon will pass through Earth's shadow during a deep partial lunar eclipse visible from much of North and South America and parts of Europe and Africa. As the eclipse deepens, the Moon will appear tinged with shades of red and copper.

🚀 The countdown is entering its final phase. The Mobile Gantry has been retracted, revealing Ariane 62 on the launch pad in its flight configuration for mission VA270. The Mobile Gantry protects the launcher and provides teams with access throughout the preparation campaign. Once its role is complete, it is moved away to clear the pad ahead of the final launch operations. With Ariane 6 now fully exposed on the launch pad, all eyes are on lift-off. 🚀 Launch day. 🗓️ August 27th, 2026 🕒 Launch window: - 16:10 – 18:40 (Washington, D.C.) - 17:10 – 19:40 (Kourou) - 20:10 – 22:40 (UTC) - 22:10 – 00:40 (Paris - August 28) #Arianespace #VA270 #Ariane6 @eumetsat @esa @Thales_Alenia_S @ArianeGroup @CNES @EuropeSpacePort

Falcon Heavy’s looking sharp in the hangar before the real glow‑up begins with the launch of @NASARoman. Roman made its way to the hangar to meet its ride to space earlier this week.

We have you loud and clear! 📡 NASA is marking the addition of a powerful new 34-meter antenna to our Deep Space Network. The next-generation antenna will expand the communication and navigation capabilities of missions to the Moon and beyond.

This really looks so surreal
🚨Ship 40 is now resting on the back of a true GIANT! It looks tiny compared to the ship! They both have a journey of almost 13.000 nautical miles ahead of them! 🤯 ETA Starbase, TX: Sometime toward the end of September/early October. 📸Chris Bray

Forte has begun filling its ballast tanks and lowering itself into the water to pick up Ship 40!
It has now been an entire MONTH since S40 landed in the indian ocean. S40 remains attached to Normand ranger and Forte is currently hovering nearby. Forte is expected to lower itself into the water to allow crews to move S40 over Forte before its able to return to starbase!
