Porto's 58-game unbeaten streak in the league comes to an end after losing 1-0 to Braga. What a run 👏

Carlos Baleba vs Leeds

Michael Carrick: "It felt like a fresh start today, where we're at, accepting it and doing something about it. There was a real purpose to the group the last couple of days and they took it out onto the pitch."

#mufc's next six games: - Como (A) - Bournemouth (H) - Chelsea (A) - Roma (H) - Aston Villa (H) - Liverpool (A)

Manchester United draw some relief and perhaps some belief from that. Surely lessens pressure on Carrick. His players showed some fight and more intensity in challenging circumstances. Baleba good, had to be subbed as managing minutes. Maguire defiant. Otherwise still defensive issues. Martinez point remains valid #MUFC #LEEMUN

Michael Carrick: "The squad today was in a fantastic place. The best that I've seen in a while."

Why not make Mount press and cover ground while Tielemans can sit in the pivot along with Santos and spray passes?

Licha is ready 😤

🚨 Michael Carrick: “The perspective is important and football can change”. “We've had a spell where we haven't won some football games, all right?”. “Correct me if I'm wrong, are we four points off the top four or something?”.

One agent talked about Jason Wilcox to Daily Mail: "Jason is in an incredibly difficult position. Everybody would think he’s the decision-maker at the club, but he absolutely isn’t. #mufc is run by the owners, Sir Jim and the Glazers. If you sack Wilcox, nothing will change. It’s a mess." Another adds: "We had a deal agreed with Jason and then Jim got involved and tried to change it. He ended up killing it." [@ChrisWheelerDM, @NathSalt1]
