Our LunaH-Map cubesat, launched as a secondary payload on #Artemis I, has called home! Its batteries are charging, and it is sending & receiving signals on its journey to the Moon. LunaH-Map's mission: seek out & map the water at the Moon’s South Pole. go.nasa.gov/3EfWk6v

First telemetry received from @lunahmap. Spacecraft is alive, appears to have deployed successfully and the radio is in beacon mode awaiting first DSN acquisition. Batteries look good and are charging.

Great thread if you are wondering about the state of charge of the CubeSats hitching a ride on #Artemis_1. We’re rooting for you, @lunahmap!!

Couldn’t help but notice that there were several questions about the cubesat batteries yesterday at the Sept 3rd NASA SLS press conference. Thanks for thinking of us little guys! Given the interest, here’s a bit more info about that… 1 / 24

Didn’t expect to make this offer but if @NASA_SLS needs some hydrogen maps I could give it a shot… not really in my nominal design specs though.
