Happy Birthday to America's favorite baby brother @EthanLHellier !

And we all thought Minnesota was dysfunctional

I'm incredibly grateful to our Lakeville school staff and the Lakeville Police and Fire Departments for their quick, professional response to today's threat involving our schools. Situations like this are unsettling for students, parents, staff and our entire community. I know how difficult it is for families to receive an alert involving their child's school and wait for additional information. Please know that the safety of our students and staff is the highest priority. Our schools and public safety professionals train and prepare for situations like this, and today's response demonstrated the importance that preparation and strong coordination. Thank you to educators, administrators, police officers, firefighters, dispatchers, bus company, and everyone who responded quickly and worked to keep our students safe. To Lakeville parents and families, we are fortunate to have dedicated professionals looking out for our kids and our community.

Update from Dakota County: ***Lakeville Roundabout Update*** Efforts are underway to improve roundabout safety at county road 50 and 185th St. The county will be installing an interim solution - new pavement markings and mumble strips to help encourage drivers to stay in their lane within the roundabout. These mumble strips make a gentle vibration without the noise of standard rumble strips. Installation will occur overnights on Sept. 20 and 21.

SUMMER IS EXTENDED! The weather forecast looks great for the Splash Pad at Grand Prairie Park to stay open an extra week. The Splash Pad will stay open through Sunday, September 13th so you can get a few more visits in. Daily hours are 10a.m. - dusk.

You're up by 35 and you keep your starting QB in the game?
