Marco Rubio: I saw somebody associated with the Ukrainian government say that people in Ukraine are dying because the U.S. is denying them information.
That's scandalous. That's outrageous. That's simply not true. That's not accurate

- Russia has a massive logistics problem in Donbas, as Ukrainian drones are destroying its vehicles.
- The Kremlin informs the White House about this problem.
- Musk, Trump, and Hegseth throttle Starlink in Ukraine, hampering Ukrainian drone strikes.
- Trump and his pals are promised lucrative business deals with Russia.
- Thousands of Ukrainians die, while Russia threatens to seize even more territory.
I've never witnessed such a betrayal in my life.
russia has run into serious problems with its offensive in Donbas, where its forces have become bogged down.
One of the main reasons was that russian logistics had been crippled by Ukrainian drone strikes. This campaign depended heavily on Starlink terminals operating on high-speed Ukrainian drones.
russian military command identified this as a critical problem and approached the American side, asking it to restrict the speeds at which Starlink terminals could operate.
The argument was simple: there would be little public backlash because the US could still claim that Starlink was operational and that the service was still being provided.
The Trump administration agreed to the restrictions, effectively solving a critical battlefield problem for Russia.
As a result, russian logistics in Donbas are now safer, and Ukraine has lost an important advantage on the battlefield.

Ten years ago today.
In just the last few days: Trump made a deal for the U.S. to buy Russian diesel, an economic lifeline for Putin; he and Elon Musk blamed each other for an order that slowed down Starlink satellite connectivity over Ukraine, hampering the country's defenses during a devastating Russian attack; and Trump waived sanctions on Russia that Congress, led by his late friend Lindsey Graham, had pushed for.
Now, Putin has proposed a summit with Trump and Xi to decide Ukraine’s fate for them, bulldoze a century of international cooperation, and frame Russia as an equal to the U.S. and China.
We’ll see if Putin’s puppet continues to dance on his strings.

A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children.
I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.

Another Russian ballistic missile attack came in several waves overnight, and once again, there was no early warning from our partners. They again targeted energy facilities and infrastructure, but a medical clinic, a school, a metro station, and ordinary residential buildings were also damaged. In total, the Russians launched 16 ballistic missiles in a deliberate attack on Kyiv and the Kyiv region. The Russians also launched more than 200 drones of various types, including jet-powered “shaheds,” with attacks spanning from the Kharkiv and Dnipro regions to the Volyn, Rivne, and Odesa regions. Sadly, there are casualties. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Those who were injured are receiving assistance. Overnight and this morning, Russia attacked energy facilities in the Vinnytsia, Volyn, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Kharkiv, Ternopil, Odesa, and Rivne regions. In this one night alone, more than 10 energy infrastructure facilities were damaged, and the lights went out for at least 550,000 families. Repair crews are working at the sites.
Ukraine never wanted this war, and we have welcomed literally EVERY attempt by our partners to bring this war to a dignified end. We have responded positively to EVERY ceasefire proposal. Russia's response, time and again, has been ballistic missiles, “shaheds,” and killings. Putin not only doesn't want to end this war – he doesn't even want to take any steps toward de-escalation. EVERY ONE of our partners has experienced this firsthand when they heard Russia's refusals. And it is crucial to call things what they are. To call the aggressor an aggressor and help Ukraine defend lives. When deliveries of missiles for Ukraine's air defense are blocked while Russia is granted relief or delays in sanctions, this is, unfortunately, a denial of reality on the part of our partners. The reality is that the war continues, and it continues solely because of Russian strikes and Russia's desire to drag this war out. I thank everyone who recognizes this reality and helps Ukraine!

I just love this one: "Ukraine, don't antagonize Trump."
Listen -- from the very first day of his return to the White House (and even long before that), Ukraine has indulged his every whim and gone along with every one of his insane plans.
It has dutifully catered to his grotesque craving for the most nauseating flattery and joined everyone else in massaging his monstrous ego, singing in chorus the praises of his incredible leadership, talent, power, and divine beauty.
Ukraine, and Zelensky himself in particular, has turned a blind eye to and endured countless humiliations, insulting antics, idiotic outbursts on Truth Social, and hysterical spectacles like the Oval Office showdown.
Ukraine has unfailingly supported 100% of his ridiculous, nonsensical, and downright idiotic imaginary "ceasefires," which Putin couldn't have given less of a damn about. And yet Ukraine had to listen, over and over again, to accusations that it "doesn't want peace," responding to every such outrage with yet more praise for Trump and bending over backward to appease him, desperate not to give him the slightest excuse to accuse it of being "uncooperative."
Meanwhile, Putin has spent all this time amusing himself, making a complete fool of Trump in front of the entire world, and openly spitting on every one of his frantic diplomatic maneuvers.
We've been living in this madhouse, where night has become day and day has become night, for almost two years now.
And what?
How's that working out?
What has all of this accomplished?
More slaps in the face, and ultimately, Donald Trump's complete and final betrayal and his active decision to side with the Russian aggressor.
And somehow it's Ukraine that's "antagonizing" someone?
At least have the decency to stop hiding behind this laughable victim-blaming and your invented alternate realities, and just come out and say it: "Just fucking die, all of you Ukrainians, so our idol can line his pockets with Kremlin money."

A historic video – November 22, 1994:
The U.S. President thanks Ukraine for giving up its nuclear weapons. In return, the U.S. promises to stand by Ukraine’s side to safeguard its independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity well into the future.
That future has arrived—yet today, Trump and his circle act as if none of this ever happened.

I do not understand how you can call yourself a progressive, leftist, or Marxist, but then make apologetic statements for the Russian invasion of Ukraine. This is straight-up imperialism. Putin seeks to annex and subjugate a former colony. His actions are no different from those of emperors and kings of previous centuries.

Replying to @LeonKrauze

First. The narrative that diesel prices in America are heavily impacted by Ukrainian attacks on Russian oil refineries is completely fabricated.
Second. The sanctions waiver Trump just granted to Russia is using the fabricated narrative above to make it look like it's in America's national interest. It is not.
Third. It was planned, and the narrative was constructed to make it happen, which took time.
Fourth. This offers Russia's economy a necessary lifeline it desperately needs.
Fifth. this is happening during one of the largest Russian bombing campaigns targeting the civilian population of Ukraine, and right before winter, a season the Russians proudly and loudly plan to make the hardest and deadliest for Ukraine yet by bombing our civilian infrastructure and causing a humanitarian disaster.
This is well planned and played. A masterclass in betrayal, executed at the hardest possible time. I can almost feel a physical knife between my shoulder blades...

I don’t usually join panels, but given the news and my presence on the ground, I was asked to weigh in. Here’s my response to a panelist who appeared to be defending Vladimir Putin amid Russia’s ongoing war against Ukraine:
“Do you want to save Ukrainian civilian lives, or would you rather hinder and kneecap what’s supposed to be your ally in its fight for survival against Russia? That’s simply what it comes down to now.”

Oh, so he backed down real quick when the fierce public backlash started really burning, just three weeks before the elections?
This is exactly how you deal with people like him. Enough of kissing his ass and practically fainting at the mere prospect of having to endure another one of his raging tantrums because you dared to tell him "no."
Let him get his fingers burned by public opinion and firm, decisive resistance from the leaders of the free world every single time.
He doesn't understand any other language. All the appeasement and fawning over him, as if he were some problem child, only embolden him to walk all over the rest of us.

A ver.
Replying to @LeonKrauze
