I matched into my dream sub-specialty. I’m going to be a Urogyn Surgeon! Such an honor to join this field, I couldn’t have done it without my immediate and resident family. Super excited to join the UTMB Urogyn fam 🔥#FellowMatch #Urogyn #URPS #MedTwitter #UTMB

Inspired by one of our favorite magazines: @Essence!🤎💜
Welcome some of the newest docs on the block!

Transparency moment: Ever since I matched I’ve been trying to fight my imposter syndrome. A top 5 OBGYN program matched me? MCATS were a 494 and 493 respectively. Rejected from every med school during my first cycle. Rejected from all but one second cycle?
But God.

Don’t you want to know if there are racial biases in the MATCH? Well this is something we can find out. The @AAMCtoday has been sitting on race/ethnicity data that they won’t share with @TheNRMP (National Resident Matching Program). 1/8 🧵
