I’ll give Abdul El-Sayed one thing: the guy can talk. He’s a hell of a speaker. And frankly, that’s exactly why people better start paying attention to what he actually believes and what he wants to do. But spare me with these polls. Remember the Democratic primary? This guy was supposedly going to run away from Congresswoman Haley Stevens. Late polls had him up 10, 14, even 15 points. The actual result? El-Sayed 48.5%. Haley Stevens 47.5%. ONE POINT. All that polling. All that hype. And he barely got out of his own primary. So now I’m supposed to see a poll with him up a point and believe this race is over? Please. There’s a reason the Democrats are bringing the big guns into Michigan. Barack Obama is coming to Detroit to campaign for him. They know Michigan matters, and they know this race matters. Maybe the polls are right this time. Maybe they aren’t. But we already watched the polls badly overstate El-Sayed’s support once in Michigan, and the voters made that race a hell of a lot closer than everybody was telling us it would be. Mike Rogers has a real opportunity here. Don’t watch the hype. Watch the votes. #Michigan #MISen #MikeRogers #Election2026
