Dark mode is finally here on the Lugg app and website.
Easier on your eyes at night. Better for battery life on OLED screens. And, honestly, it just looks good.

Used @lugg for the first time and it’s lwk life changing.
Before you store the patio set for winter: let it dry fully, don't stack damp cushions, and cover it. Then it's ready to come right back out in spring.
No room in the garage? Your Luggers can run the whole set to a storage unit and bring the heavy indoor stuff back in the same trip.
One of our favorite jobs this month: we helped transport Johnny 5 and the @os3robotics robots to The Hardware Showcase of San Francisco for #SFTechWeek, then back home the same day.
Tall, heavy, and not the kind of thing that fits in a car. If you need to move something big in the Bay Area, that's what we do. 🤖🚚
Thanks @itisadyan and @risos8200 for having us.
Our cargo looked a little different this week. 🚚

“We move anything” now includes robots. 🤖
Happy we could support The Hardware Showcase of San Francisco as a transportation sponsor during #SFTechWeek. 🤖🚚
Big thanks to Tools for Enlightenment for including us. Loved being part of it! 💙
Switching apartments in the same building this season? You can book a move without leaving the address. Set pickup and drop-off to the same place.
Your Luggers will move things between floors, rooms or units. Useful for a complex switch, or getting a couch up two flights after you've already bought it.
Just moved and staring at the stuff that didn't make the cut? If you're donating furniture, go in the morning. Donation centers fill up as the day goes on and start turning things away once they hit capacity.
Worth a quick call first. Most can't take anything broken, stained or torn, and many won't take old TVs, mattresses or appliances.
Lugg sends two movers and a truck, usually within the hour, for the things that don't fit in a car.
A couch up three flights. A Marketplace pickup across town. A mattress that has to get home today.
You pick the vehicle and the arrival time. The median couch move runs about $140.
Worth buying during Labor Day sales:
Mattresses, 20-40% off. This and Presidents' Day are the two best mattress weekends of the year.
Patio and outdoor, 40-60% off, and that window holds through October.
Sofas, dining sets and bedroom furniture run around 10-15% this weekend. The deeper markdowns on those come with the inventory changeovers - January and February for sofas and dining, July and August for bedroom, at 25-50%. Worth knowing, unless you find a store running a real event or pop-up, where the floor deals can beat the calendar.
Floor models are 25-50% off any time of year, because that specific piece needs to leave. If you find one this weekend, the discount is real.
One logistics note: clearance and floor-model pieces are usually cash and carry, and you have about 24 hours to get it out. Everything else is quoting six to eight weeks on upholstered right now, because sale weekends are when the delivery calendar fills.
Just used @lugg for my move to Williamsburg, and the previous tenant of my new apartment used my Lugg movers to haul her stuff to Bed Stuy after I dropped my stuff off. Total effective cost was cut in half. 10/10 would recommend. It's like Uber Pool for moving
