don't get this logic, there is no reason they won't give them a deduction hefty enough to all but relegate them.
The Premier League being seen as a league where cheaters get let off with a "hefty fine" is far more damaging than losing Manchester City for a season.
It's gonna take years for compensation on lost revenue etc. City are absolutely done for though, finished.
Legal action is the best way for these clubs to go though, not begging for an asterisk title which would further devalue the league after a damaging day. #PL #ManCity
Premier League clubs are planning legal action in response to Manchester City being found guilty on almost all the charges relating to breaches of the league’s financial regulations.
Several teams mobilised leading lawyers some time ago to ascertain what they may be eligible to claim for, and a number of clubs are talking to each other about this.
