During natural disasters, animals are often among the most vulnerable. If you’re unable to take them with you, please make sure they are unchained so they have a chance to escape!😢 It’s heartbreaking to see animals left tied up with no way to save themselves but it’s also inspiring to see the compassion of those who carry animals to safety. In times like these, our humanity is measured by how we treat the helpless!

Hearing a lot of sad stories from Cyclone Ditwa & I can only imagine the trauma of those who had to watch without being able to help. It reinforces my belief that swimming should be a compulsory life skill in all Sri Lankan schools. Every Sri Lankan should learn to swim..not just for sport but for survival!
