That moment when the script (and camera!) get flipped on you. Super proud to be part of this team! 🙌💉
Today, meet our mobile team, a group of staff from MGH and community agencies like @TNOtoronto, @AccessAlliance and @WoodgreenDotOrg who work together to bring vaccines to where people live, work and play: tehn.ca/about-us/newsroom/be… 3/3
A familiar face in my holiday reading this morning! Congrats @panthony1986 on this well deserved recognition and to the many others from @MGHToronto, @ETHPnews and beyond who are working so hard to get vaccines into arms. 💉

One of many anti vaccination requirement protests happening at hospitals across Canada now.
Meanwhile, doctors and nurses I have been speaking with are beyond stressed, burnt out, some in tears. But still showing up to treat the severely ill – predominantly the unvaccinated

When Saba Scott noticed a pop-up #COVID19 vaccine clinic happening near her building in #TaylorMassey, she told staff she'd like to be vaccinated but couldn't leave her children home alone.
So staff offered to give Saba her first dose in her living room: ow.ly/anKx50FOVAr
How do you reach the remaining unvaccinated? Approach wth empathy — and don’t be afraid to take COVID-19 vaccines to the streets. Great story in @TorontoStar about how @MGHToronto and @ETHPnews are helping to bring vaccinations to the people thestar.com/news/gta/2021/08…
Genuinely one of the things I’ve missed most about pre-pandemic times and something I look forward to doing again soon 👀

Many kind people have reached out to convey their concerns about today; asking how to help. If you're able to contribute anything to the #ldnont Muslim family for funeral & other costs - please donate here. Be kind to each other. Lift each other up.

An absolutely horrifying act driven by #Islamophobia. “This is a terrorist attack on Canadian soil and should be treated as such.”

Death to genocidal regimes. Freedom in this lifetime.
So many people came together today to help us get back to normal: doctors, nurses, pharmacists, volunteers, community ambassadors, eligible folks who waited patiently (and enthusiastically!) for their jabs, and so many more. A true community effort! 💉💪 #OneEastToronto
We did it, #Toronto! 10,000 vaccines administered today - incredible work by all!!!! So proud of this #Canadian first for vaccine delivery. #TeamVaccine
