I'm all for PVE in this market, and want all good artcoins to succeed, but I want to point this out as a case study because it directly affected $Luci in its early cto days. Around the time the dev practically quit, some people who were previously very active in the @lucithecoin community started buying $Flame. They were dumping $Luci to do that. They could have worked together to make the cto succeed, but instead they wanted to work on a cheap fake thinking it was going to be the next $Luci and so they kept adding to the sell pressure, being opportunistic and greedy, and frankly shortsighted. What happened after is all on the charts. $Luci is up 33x since then and $Flame is down 91%. The takeaway? Never underestimate a good IP, and never think that just because you quit, other people will do the same. Another thing a lot of people find out the hard way in this market is, time tested cults have a sense of loyalty and shared vision that binds it together; newer coins have to go through a lot of people screwing each other over before it gets there (if it survives at all).
