Everybody's focused on Lyndsey Fifield's experiences with Platner because she's a Republican. But here's what Jenny Racicot, a lifelong Democrat who dated Platner and spoke to the NYT about an "unsettling" experience she had with him years ago, has to say about him.
Speaking with @TheFP, Racicot explained that she is a supporter of Platner’s policies—but not who he is as a person.
“I had good memories with him, but also, there’s a side of him that I had an experience with that caused me to cut off all contact and to not support him as a person,” she said. “It was eating me alive to see somebody that I know to be one way publicly portray themselves a different way.” W/@FrannieBlock:

The murder of Stephanie Minter in Fairfax has turned into an unbelievably massive scandal.
A newly released email shows that the Fairfax Police Department warned Commonwealth Attorney Steve Descano's office this past November about releasing illegal alien repeat offender Adbul Jalloh back into the community.
They said "it's not a question of if, but when he will maliciously wound (or worse) again." And they were right. He murdered Stephanie Minter at a bus stop last week.
Steve Descano and Abigail Spanberger have blood on their hands.

I don’t care if you’re Republican, Independent, Democrat, or an all-out communist voter.
Using “fairness” in this question should be an insult to you. Even if you support redistricting, you should have the decency to be honest about what you want, which is that our maps in Virginia actually become much less fair.
It’s bad enough that Democrats in Richmond are trying to take away the voices of 45% of Virginians. It’s even worse that they’re blatantly lying about it - and getting away with it.
