I took 10+ hours of AI courses so you don’t have to. Starting a new series: AI for Product Managers Demystified. #1: Evaluations. What evals mean in practice, and who owns what between product and engineering. aivibecheck.substack.com/p/a…

The interface can focus on the task, the result and the controls needed to check it. Some work may happen elsewhere altogether. Linear reports that agents and MCP clients now create nearly half of its issues.

For me, this means revisiting the roadmap and the UI. Some features may no longer need to be built. Others still matter, but don’t need to sit front and centre. There's a big opportunity to simplify user interfaces even further 💡

AI can make parts of an existing roadmap less relevant. Intercom’s Fin feeds itself from the knowledge base automatically and makes scripting chatbot responses via a workflow irrelevant.

Custom reporting is another example. We explored it during my time at Bonsai, when tools like Explo helped products offer reports to users. Today, assistants can query connected data through MCP. Claude Dashboards can turn that data into reports that stay current.

That would make me reconsider building a custom report builder. It changes the hierarchy of information too. Fewer settings need to compete for space on the main screen. Advanced options can sit in secondary views.

Quick look at Signals: it turns scattered product feedback into recurring feature ideas/bugs, with links to the original comments. Been using it for discussions I'm having with @Lovable and @posthog . Happy to open source it and share if others would find it useful. Interested?

Reading Anthropic’s AI-native SDLC playbook got me thinking: AI is dramatically shortening the "build" phase, but "plan" and "design" haven’t necessarily caught up. So I’ve been building Signals!

In this example, Signals works with publicly available feedback about PostHog as a first guinea pig. It can also connect to private feedback through MCP: Intercom conversations, Slack discussions, Typeform responses, and other sources your team already uses.

Building faster makes choosing the right problems even more valuable. Would this be useful for your team? I’m building the beta and would be happy to give a few teams access for their own company. Comment or DM me—I’d love to hear how you handle this today.

GPT-6 Astra from @OpenAI demo got my 12-year-old gamer self curious. One fun weekend project later: boat football in Lisbon, with a pastel de nata as the ball 😂 @unity MCP for the game, @suno for music. Surprisingly few tokens, lots of fun. regattarivals.com

I wish my local supermarket chain had an MCP so I could grocery shop from Claude
