Do you guys ever think about the fact that the Pentagon spends over $2,000,000,000 a day on weapons and war but the minimum wage has been $7.25 for 14 years?

They say that the cactuses in Phoenix, Arizona have been collapsing due to the extreme heat but please bear in mind you are a human being and not a cactus should you collapse due to the extreme heat you will be told that you’d better get used to it.

Today in traffic court I saw elderly people, sick people, disabled people, blue collar workers, etc. getting shaken down for cash. I saw racial profiling. I saw bullying. I saw taxpayers carrying the burden while corporations who benefit from our roads get subsidies.

I have been getting angrier and angrier thinking about @TheAtlantic putting Ed Yong’s crucial article on fatigue and ME/CFS and Long Covid behind a paywall while their terrible, pandemic minimizing clickbait disinformation and propaganda is freely disseminated.

Red State life expectancy is already much lower than Blue States and that disparity will continue to grow.
So what are people in red states going to do when all the doctors and teachers are gone?

A citation is an arrest. A non-custodial arrest. So they will warn homeless people to no longer be poor and if they are caught being poor again they'll be arrested.
Police will be giving a few chances to those living outside. The first is a warning, the second is a misdemeanor citation and finally they will make an arrest if someone doesn’t comply to staying at a safe sleeping site. cbs8.com/article/news/homele…

Why is the “billionaire” using small donations from working people to pay his legal bills? Why doesn’t he use his own money? All the millions he’s raking in from the Saudis isn’t enough to cover it?

NEW: student borrowers can apply for the NEW income driven repayment program beginning next month. It could lower your payments to ZERO, you only have to do it ONCE, not annually, and unpaid interest will NOT accrue if you make you new lower payments. cnn.com/2023/07/30/politics/…

Officer Kyle Davis from Indiana is under arrest for trying to film a young teen girl at his home while she was in the restroom. After being busted Kyle tried to blame the recording on his son. The victim got the courage to come forward after attending a sex ed class at school, where they spoke about different types of abuse. This is why creeps don't want children learning these things in class.

Pay Congress $7.25hr for being public servants and put them on Aetna, for $650 a month, with a $5K deductible and high copays. They can work summers to make ends meet, like most teachers have to. ***Then I wanna know who loves their insurance.

Haha I’m the one that found that breast pump fraud. It was the private doctors in the TRICARE network gouging the DoD. It’s ALWAYS the private doctors that commit the fraud. Never the consumers or the government. That’s why privatization and for-profit health care are bad ideas
The @DeptofDefense paid $1,500 for a breast pump that can be purchased at Walmart for $192. $1,800 for vaccines that everyone else pays $125. DoD must do more to stop corporate price gouging and protect taxpayer funds. politico.com/minutes/congres…
