The last week has really impressed upon me that the majority of CT is mentally unwell/down bad and are lashing out at everything and anything on the timeline. IMO, there has never been a better arb on being healthy/happy/positive. Emotional stability is the alpha. Study it.

Do people not understand how statistics work? Median hold time = the middle holding period across all realised sells, NOT the average time someone holds their coins. You're more likely to sell things quickly when you have less conviction in them. So the median is pulled towards shorter holding periods by virtue of the fact that you trade your trash coins more frequently! Moreover, by definition, conviction bags are held. You believe in them. You can round-trip $100k+ on multiple conviction bags WHILST actively trading low-cap shitters and still have a very low median hold time! If you haven't sold a bag, it doesn't count towards realised holding time! Truly infuriating use of data. Very misleading. 10/10 rage bait.

Haha yes exactly. But people will read it and not understand that. You can round trip 50k and be a jeet because the median is low because you sold all the trash coins.

Like $50 average buy = 1 hour. $500 average buy = 1 day. This makes the median 12 hours haha.

Median is a bad metric because it's the sum of all sells. We know from this space that most stuff is trash so that = quicker time to sell, which obfuscates the stats as "look wirelyss only holds coins for 1 hour lololol". Raw data like that is flawed if you count every buy as equal weighting, which by definition it isn't. Average hold time on dollar spent is a better metric.

This is a good update. IMO, confidence in a product/team can be measured by how much they have "that dog in them" to ship updates despite already being cash flow positive/profitable. Pump didn't need to improve their infra (it was already good enough). But the fact that they did, when everyone was FUDding them for everything/anything under the sun, proves that the end goal of being the "everything app with the everything token" is still their North Star.
