I told myself that when Saban retired I would take a step back and let a season or two pass before I got really invested in. I knew it was the right call for a variety of reasons. But I have always been too dumb to take my own advice.

He wrote some SONGS. Basically every song you can’t help but love from the 70s, he at least co-wrote. Dated some absolute baddies. Must have been one, himself, too if “Jesus was a Crossmaker” is any indication. Had the respect and love of Frey and Henley. A major player. 🌅
