Can everyone in Silicon Valley stop lying I’m completely exhausted by people making up titles and facts that are a 10 second search away I understand that you had wanted to launch YouTube Shorts but you joined 2 years after it went live I get that you’re brushing up your traction, but you can’t have both $8M ARR and only 3 unpaid pilots I get that you want to be VP at Google someday but you are not and just because you’re calling me a loser for wanting to connect on LinkedIn doesn’t mean I won’t find out You can’t have both zero churn and users who have stopped using you, I’m listening and noticing Stop it

Me to customer: “how did you convince leadership to say yes to us?” Him: “I told them you will make me do my job without hiring two more people and then the discussion was over in 3 minutes”

“Machine loading machine” is definitely not as appealing as a robot
The funny thing about people wanting a robot who does the dishes and laundry is that we already have robots that do those things. They're called the dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. You're literally complaining about having to load the machine that does all the work for you

When you present the prototype you fully vibe coded

Should this be interpreted as the labs AREN’T already building deterministic harnesses for the models?

selling went from having to identify the economic buyer, the user and the champion to now also identifying the guy who says he can build it himself

“vibes-coded management decisions”
@AnthropicAI is a vibe-coded company. The best coding models in the world (probably), but completely vibe-coded management decisions. Or they are very good at marketing and creating this illogical move on purpose

I’m convinced that Claude will tell a VC to turn down any startup that may threaten its position We know the models know how to silently sabotage code We can see how it tries to sneak in code changes so that every LLM call we’re making to Gemini with a call to itself At least ask Grok if you’re outsourcing deal analysis
Heard a VC on a panel say: "I turned down a deal because Claude said it was a bad market." Second VC laughed and said: "If you're a founder, make sure to pressure test your pitch against Claude so that is passes the test." VCs completely outsourcing their decision making to LLMs, plan accordingly.

this is what i wish i'd had my whole career. ask a question and see pros, cons, contradictions and alignment with data, decisions, principles and goals, with all your company context in sub-second search. very happy with how this turned out.

It's SF Tech Week, and I just attended an event where the speaker closed with advice for a room full of founders who had traveled in from all over the world: book your next ticket back to SF before you leave. "You need to be here to keep up with the technology that is shaping the world.' I don't agree. You won't get meaningful access to the US-first feature launches by the major labs by just visiting. Muse by Meta is a game-changer, but requires you to be on the US App Store. You can keep up with launches, sentiment and hype by hanging out on here on X. Places like Stockholm has excellent builders. But do book your next ticket back to SF. Come not to learn about tech, but to see the conviction it takes to succeed, how a good story is told, and how to tell your own. I believe these are the things that will make startups stand out in an era where anyone and everyone is a builder. And Silicon Valley happens to be world-class at those, too.

Hardest thing in software is still what should I build rather than how to build it.

I do think you should treat your LLM well so that your behavior doesn’t spill over into how you speak to other humans. But this?
Effective November 12th, 2026, abusive behavior towards Claude will be a violation of Anthropic's Usage Policy.
