Dude you really need to look at your life if you are wishing someone else this much ill and harm. Maybe look at yourself first and the kind of person you are.

Because going to Walmart was low effort! Anyone could go to Walmart and just get a ring. I don't think she is looking for a bigger ring, but the effort to get the ring she wanted.

But if the gal says I want X kind of ring, and maybe it would of been less money but more effort to get! She wanted the effort from him.

Then I could see him running, but it really sounds like this was nothing like what she wanted, and thus he just did what was easy and nothing more.

I have to agree with you. If my husband had got me a ring like that and proposed, it would really make me question how well he knew me! Even worse if they talked about it, and she told him what she wanted. Now, if this was a smaller or cheaper version of what she wanted...
