Take a good hard look at the TN supermajority. This is how they run the statehouse. There is no respect or decorum. Only partisanship, disrespect & bullying. I’ve witnessed it firsthand and been subjected to their disrespect myself. I hope #Tennessee wakes up and votes them out!
Either @WilliamLamberth doesn’t know enough about the bill to explain it, or he doesn’t have the backbone to answer @Justinjpearson in a public gallery…or both. Either way, it shows SDE all day long. Act like an elected official or resign 🤷‍♂️

Honestly, I do not know what red states are gonna do. Who will deliver babies in your state? You are already seeing a decline in residency applications for ob-gyn spots. Here's the rub, med students get engaged and marry who they meet in their bubble. I did. /1

FLASHBACK: “I’m selling lemonade, cookies, and this AK-47.” Former Nashville rep @RepMikeStewart set up shop in Nashville to show how lax Tennessee’s gun laws are. And they have only gotten looser. #HowManyMore 🇺🇸 @TNGOP @GovBillLee @CSexton25

In Tennessee as of April 1, you can bring a loaded firearm to brunch without a permit but a guy could not dress up like Dolly Parton and sing Jolene without risking a misdemeanor.
Tennessee governor Bill Lee issued a statement recently about how the drag ban in Tennessee “protects children” If only he would have instead focused on laws that might have prevented the mass murder of children in his state today tennessean.com/story/news/po…

I have never posted about this, mainly for the safety of my spouse & family. But, she has asked me to share in this extremely pivotal moment. We live in TN. My spouse is an OB/GYN and every time she does an abortion to save someones life, she commits a class C felony.

What do you call a system in which 41 Republican Senators, representing just 21% of the population, can stop voting rights legislation backed by 70% of Americans? How about “broken”?
