Last week, I started building a housing upzoning game.
Today, I am launching Upzoned v0.1.0 with free and paid early access tiers.
You can just do things, like upzoning all of New York.

In the last two hours, I've been vibe coding a New York City adversarial policy simulator.
What is an adversarial simulator? In games like SimCity or Cities Skylines, you get to play God. Land is rezoned, budgets are amended, and policies implemented by executive (your) fiat, bereft of checks and balances or institutional obstruction.
These games are classics, but I have always wanted to have NPCs serving as rivals that attempt to stymie my grand ambitions in the simulator.
Built with Opus 5, introducing Upzoned: a game where you, the player, can upzone the entire city by duking it out with NIMBYs and Olsonian special interests in the ULURP process.
In mere seconds, using my latex-tutor.nvim tool, I can turn a blurry textbook diagram and replicate it in TikZ
For the last three years, I've been rebuilding a life science research, one that I left part way to work my way up the ranks in New York policymaking.
Since then, I've written almost a thousand pages of LaTeX across a wide breadth of mathematics and physics textbooks I use to self-study.
I don't have a human tutor to check my work, so I built a Google Docs-esque agentic LaTeX review system, natively integrated into my Neovim workflow on WSL, and with completely customizable tutor goals you hand off to your agent.

Worked through some computations demonstrating that liquid helium is the only naturally-occurring liquid that is quantum mechanical, and a proof of the mathematical underpinnings of zero-point energy (which tells you you ALWAYS have some kinetic energy in a confined particle), and my mind is BLOWN

Due to overwhelming demand, I have made a public version of the doc that we used to organize the inaugural Build Your Own Proof Assistant class in Spring 2026.

When an extreme weather disaster like Hurricane Isaias hits, it triggers a complex response plan involving a network of government agencies. However, this critical system is under threat from the Trump administration—leaving communities defenseless. ⛈️ 🌪️
Join us on Oct. 23 for an update on our plans to return American astronauts to the Moon by 2028. NASA leadership will also give details on the upcoming Artemis III mission to test critical systems needed for future Moon landings. go.nasa.gov/4hNAvjO
Merv Kelly (Bell Labs president) predicted in 1951 that telecoms networks would be “more like the biological systems of man’s brain and nervous system”
Incredible new initiative from @AVGregR folks in the think tank space should follow 👇
🍾 After a year of intensive building, I’m thrilled to officially announce the launch of @IMIpolicy.
IMI is a new think tank that goes beyond research and white papers – we’re also building video games, simulations, and experiences to better communicate complex policy issues.

In your TUTOR.md, you can stipulate the learning goals you would like to achieve, and what you would like your tutor to focus on.
Do you fumble multiplicative factors, matrix arithmetic, or keeping signs the right way? You can tell your tutor to watch for all of these mechanical errors.
I'm not a uni student anymore, and grades or GPA are quaint trivialities to me now.
I continue to self-study math and physics for pure love of the game (and because computational fluid mechanics and nuclear fission are f'king awesome)
Agentic AI makes the process more engaging than ever.
