Yesterday I had the honor of attending the 249th anniversary celebration of U.S. independence at the @usembassyMVD , a special event that also marked the farewell of Ambassador Heide Fulton. Over the years, we’ve shared missions, challenges, and meaningful conversations. But above all, we built a friendship. Her leadership has left a strong mark on our community and on the ties between our countries. To my American friends and colleagues, happy Independence Day. It's always inspiring to share this moment with you. And to Ambassador Fulton, thank you. For your dedication, your warmth, and the bridges you helped build. Uruguay won’t forget it.

Yesterday was such a great day at Tech Basel by @eMergeAmericas ! Big thanks to @melmedina305 and Manny for the invitation - it’s amazing to see everything you’re doing for the community. I had the chance to reconnect with partners and dive into some great conversations about how machine learning and quantum computing are changing the way we think about technology. And to top it off, hearing from Mr. Worldwide, Armando Christian Pérez, was the perfect way to end the day.

During the final days of our journey, we had the incredible opportunity to visit some of the most innovative companies in the world. We toured @awscloud and explored @Tesla Gigafactory, which is the only facility producing the Cybertruck and the largest car factory in the world. They also produce the Model Y, and every time they reach the milestone of 1 million units, they showcase it in their showroom. Later, we were welcomed by @ Crumpton Global for a cocktail reception, where we had meaningful conversations with their CEO, CFO, and Andres Duran Ambassador to the U.S. Crumpton Global, known for investing in startups that provide value to national security, shared insightful perspectives on the future of technology and security. We also visited @UTAustin and @Cisco where Jose Sartore received us, adding to a week filled with valuable exchanges and new connections. It was an honor to represent @CutiUy with @iretayler and Andrea Mendaro 🇺🇾 alongside such talented leaders. The insights and connections made during this trip will undoubtedly drive @loopstudio_dev forward as we continue to innovate and deliver impactful software development solutions.

Still in Austin, Texas - yesterday was a day full of valuable insights. In the first photo, we had the opportunity to engage in discussions about remote work, collaboration, and innovative strategies at @MiroHQ . Later, we visited @CrowdStrike where we were informed about the latest trends in cybersecurity. It was truly an enlightening day, and I'm eagerly looking forward to what today holds!

Continuing this great journey in Austin, TX for the @CutiUy Annual Mission, yesterday was full of valuable experiences. We kicked off with a visit to @cloudera where the VP of Product and Data gave us an in-depth presentation on their cutting-edge solutions and strategies in data management. Later, we had the privilege of meeting Gordon Daugherty one of the founders of @CapitalFactory, where we explored ideas around innovation, startup growth, and fostering new technologies. It’s been an inspiring day, and I can’t wait to see what today will bring!

Monday was a very productive day! In the morning, I visited Q-Branch a place focused on innovation and collaboration. It was interesting to see the work being done there. In the afternoon, we headed to @salesforce - @tableau , where I had the unexpected privilege of meeting the Adrian Rosenkranz COO of Tableau It was one of those moments you don’t plan for. Everyone had already left, but I stayed behind, chatting with a few people. As luck would have it, they introduced me to the COO, and we had a great conversation. Definitely one of those unique, spontaneous connections that make these trips worthwhile! I'm definitely looking forward to what today brings!

My trip to Austin, Texas this weekend kicked off with an incredible surprise: we ran into the president of Uruguay, and I had the opportunity to tell him about the mission! A fantastic start to what promises to be an enriching experience. To top it off, GNS Law treated us to a welcoming cocktail event last night, marking the official opening of the mission. Excited to see what the coming days bring. Stay tuned for more updates!
