I've attempted to map everything in oncology in a public website and open source repo for all. The site is trying to get all cancers, products, technologies, bottlenecks, people, startup opportunities with 1000+ ideas for upgrading the field. If you have a loved one with cancer and you are technical or can engineer, go take a look, file improvement requests or bugs or help with the open repo and make this the best open and free info resource for individuals, researchers and educational use. This should save people time, aid AI oncology projects and generate positive action. If you are not technical just complain in this thread about broken or annoying or things you want and I'll fix them live. Some of the interesting pages: Treatments: onco.cc/drugs A gallery of the molecules being used onco.cc/molecules/ And targets: onco.cc/targets/ The technologies in oncology: onco.cc/technologies/ 1100 ideas for helping oncology: onco.cc/ideas/ Bottlenecks on oncology: onco.cc/bottlenecks/ Open questions (LETS GO RESEARCH PEOPLE) onco.cc/open-questions/ Startup requests (LETS GO STARTUP PEOPLE) onco.cc/startup-requests/ Mechanics of cancer: onco.cc/mechanics Battlefronts: onco.cc/fronts/ Isotope supply: onco.cc/isotopes Key papers: onco.cc/key-papers Pipeline funnels: onco.cc/pipeline Cancer by type: onco.cc/cancers/ Institutional rankings: onco.cc/institutions/ The startups: onco.cc/startups/ Heros and heroines : onco.cc/heroes/ Key medical people: onco.cc/people/ Here is the project roadmap: onco.cc/roadmap/ Models and data sets: onco.cc/models/ There are other views as well, take a browse. Try making a PR if you have an upgrade to this on the repo here: github.com/judegomila/OnCo If you are biologically/medically minded and something is wrong, file a bug as well or say on the thread and we will get it fixed live. If this is a useful project star the repo and help get it calibrated. I've tried to add some other languages but I cannot speak them so tell me if that doesnt work well. I believe we will crack oncology and having total information dominance is key to the problem. Let the feedback flow!

I wanted to share some pictures of something I've been working on for fun: A Nintendo Switch Lite SP! This mod will give the Switch Lite a folding form factor to make it closer to a 3DS!

Calibration and shaping get combined into a small precomputed transform at boot (or whenever they change). The poll loop just calls "apply", a handful of integer operations with no FPU required. Plain C99, no dependencies, no allocation.

If you're building a portable or a custom controller, give it a try. Feedback welcome!

Shaping comes second, and is where the feel comes from. Inner and outer deadzones in axial or radial shapes, gamma response curves, and circular, square, or octagonal virtual gates, all in one struct you can change at runtime without recalibrating.

I'm open sourcing Pickaxes, a C library for calibrating and shaping analog sticks and triggers on 32-bit microcontrollers, designed for people building portables and custom controllers. github.com/loopj/pickaxes

Calibration comes first. Pickaxes runs a calibration session on the firmware that captures rest position, min and max travel, and orientation. Release the stick, push it in each direction, rotate it around the rim. Drive it from a homebrew app or a button combo on the device.

Portablizers cobble together sticks and triggers from whatever fits the design, things like Joycon sticks, 3DS sliders, and random ALPS sticks from Digikey. Pickaxes lets you tune the raw ADC values from these to match OEM feel, or to your own preference.

Made a custom fully open-source based KiCAD+OpenEMS physical simulation harness so that I can check the signal integrity of my PCB design before shipping it off to the fabs. It's already working coz it flagged my board for signal integrity issues 😂

When doing custom firmware update logic, you often need to parse a binary on a host before sending it to the device being updated. I wrote a portable C parser for Pi Pico binary_info, check it out here github.com/loopj/pico-binary…

I am working on a new Wii portable, and wanted to experiment with case materials. I was going to order what I wanted from @PCBWayOfficial, but they offered store credit to cover the cost if I make 2 posts tagging them. Here's a thread review of my experience ordering resin prints

Designed a little 1U 10" bench power supply based around the RK6012 for my Rack Nook desk shelf (github.com/loopj/rack-nook)

I wanted a truly modular/customizable desk shelf, so I built one. Rack Nook is a desk shelf system, based around 10" or 19" rack components. It's open source, you can find everything you need to build your own here: github.com/loopj/rack-nook

For the center rack module I installed a DeskPi 6.91-inch touch screen, and wrote a quick Flutter application for media control.

The whole thing is really simple, honestly it's just a shelf on some 3D-printed legs, but having the rack rails allows for a lot of flexibility in how you set it up, and what you put on it. Let me know if you build your own!
