New in LookAway 2.2 - Planned Breaks. Most break apps only work on intervals. Now you can schedule breaks at a set time too, like lunch or an afternoon walk. And they still wait if you're in a meeting or deep in focus. Update to try it! lookaway.com/blog/2026/06/22…

LookAway 2.2 - Introducing Planned Breaks

Planned Breaks let you schedule breaks at fixed times like a lunch pause or an afternoon walk, while still respecting meetings, calls, and deep focus.

lookaway is designed not to interrupt your thoughts. it already knows when you’re typing near a break and quietly pauses itself. in the next update, it will also detect when you’re dictating. so your thoughts can keep flowing.

If there’s one Mac app you should install, it’s this We all spend unhealthy amounts of time on our Macs @lookawaymac takes care of that: > reminds you to fix posture + blink > smart break reminders every few hours > knows when you’re on calls or focused > syncs breaks across your devices One of those tools you install... and never remove Thanks to @kushsolitary for building this (link below)

Lookaway by @kushsolitary is the only app I've ever downloaded that immediately had an impact on my physical health. I'd been aware of it for a while but only recently noticed my own eye strain. 11/10 worth every penny and more. lookaway.com/
