Introducing @NoonSecurity, the modern workforce security platform 🌞
We built Aikido Security to secure devs. But what about…everybody else? You don’t just need to protect the products you build, you also have to protect the people building them with you.
So we built Noon. One platform to:
- Secure inboxes. Automatically detect and remove email threats that filters miss.
- Protect devices. Stop malware, malicious extensions, and risky websites.
- Govern AI use. See which AI tools team members use and govern safe usage.
- Train your people. Run realistic phishing simulations across email, deepfake calls, SMS, and more.
As part of Noon, we’ve acquired two workforce security companies: Cyberly and OutKept. Their teams have joined us to lead product expansion.
Get your team secure by Noon, get early access: noon.security

These freaks worship death
I am getting lots of incoming questions about the public execution of Nidal Hasan, mostly because I have been outspoken on wanting public executions for over a decade.
My position is simple: Executions should be public and brutal, not private and medicalized. They are the ultimate example of the state's monopoly on violence, and the only way to keep that from running out of control is to confront voters with the trade they have made every single time, that they might have appropiate confidence or revulsion in the institution.
This is not new thinking. George Washington thought the same. The way we have shifted from hanging to firing squads to doctors quietly injecting chemicals that send our worst gently off to sleep is awful and dystopian, a total short-circuiting of important feedback mechanisms. It makes needless executions more likely, not less so. People who demean this as barbaric or yucky miss the whole point. It doesn't somehow become torture or inhumane (as the UN is suddenly claiming) just because we decline to hide the act behind a curtain.
And then there are those who suggest any revel in the death of those who truly deserve it is an indicator of a broken or diseased mind. To the contrary. It is normal, good, and aligned with our natural and national order. That it has not been done here in 60 years is an indictment in and of itself.
And that is without even getting into the fact that men were not hung for stealing horse, but that horses may not be stolen.
"I would to God that one of the most attrocious in each State was hung in Gibbets, up on a gallows five times as high as the one prepared by Haman. No punishment, in my opinion, is too great for the Man, who can build his greatness upon his Country’s ruin."
- George Washington, 1778

Intelligence must draw on memory. The mind must not simply compile data — as an algorithm now does more quickly than we can — but recall lived experiences, which contain depths of meaning that only the human soul can recognize, and connect more deeply with the goodness of these experiences. Everything that is good begins “with the Spirit” and thus possesses a breath, a dynamism and a sense of communion that, once experienced, are engraved upon the heart. vatican.va/content/leo-xiv/e…

Jacob Coxon says Anthropic employees call themselves “ants” and sacrifice their careers for the company’s singular pursuit of superintelligence, while calling OpenAI "distracted and messy"
“At Anthropic, it felt a lot more like—well, for starters, the employees call themselves ants. They’re ants in the anthill. Everyone is like a worker ant trying to make Anthropic’s mission go well.
“People are very willing to sacrifice themselves for the good of the mission. They’ll take on work that’s less interesting, less big, bold and exciting, and less flashy. They’ll do it at a hit to their own interests for the good of the company.
“That’s because every decision comes back down to, ‘Is this going to get us to superintelligence faster?’
“You’ve seen Sora, the video platform OpenAI made. Anthropic would never make Sora because it’s not on the core path to artificial superintelligence. OpenAI is distracted and messy. One guy says, ‘I want to do Sora,’ or, ‘I want to build a little device,’ and they let them do it because it doesn’t have the same focus. At Anthropic, that would never happen.”
Patrick Bet-David: “Who would shut it down? The seven co-founders?”
Jacob Coxon: “They’d all agree. It would be like, ‘This video isn’t the right direction for heading straight to superintelligence.’”

Big news: Aikido Security has achieved FedRAMP Moderate authorization. 🇺🇸
Aikido's AI-native security platform, adopted by 150,000 teams, is now available to federal agencies handling sensitive information and mission-critical systems through Aikido for Government.
We got there fast, with an internal team bringing more than 15 years of US federal security experience and Aikido's own platform doing the work inside the authorization itself.

Software that's "finished" (read: stable) is going to become increasingly rare in the future. Feature packed, PM wet-dreamed software will dominate incessantly to their own irrelevance. Ironically, the feature slop extravaganza will be built using 50yr old "finished" UNIX tools.

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.
