In celebration of today’s opening of the new Transfer Center at the Longview Multimodal Facility, Longview Transit is pleased to announce that all rides will be free for the next two weeks.

A new era begins tomorrow, October 1st, for the public transit system in Longview, as Longview Transit’s hourly bus transfers, Amtrak’s Thruway Bus service, and Greyhound’s arrivals/departures will take place at the newly constructed Transfer Center.

Starting on Tuesday October 1st, Longview Transit’s hourly bus transfers, Amtrak’s Thruway Bus service, and Greyhound’sarrivals/departures will take place at the newly constructed Transfer Center- located across from the train depot at 920 Pacific Avenue.

Super Load will be slowing traffic on 149 between Tatum and Knox Lee power plant. Traffic is stop for long periods of time. Avoid the area
