We plan to build 21,000 of our battery packs at our new Austin factory in 2027, and 210,000 packs in 2028. Hiring many roles if you want to join us to create emission-free power plants in the US at maximum speed. ambrosia.energy/team
Ambrosia’s Austin factory is open. We plan to make 10 GWh per year of our battery packs. This will enable us to build at least 300 MW of firm solar + battery power plants per year starting in 2028.

Come design and build the fastest power plants in the US. Hiring in Austin, El Paso, and Redwood City, ambrosia.energy/team
Replying to @ambrosiaenergy
@ambrosiaenergy just hit 2 MW of solar at our pilot plant. We broke ground Jan 4, completed the first 1 MW on Aug 17, and 2 MW on Sept 24. Each solar panel we install with our ground mechanism now takes under 10 person-minutes to install, compared to the industry standard of ~120 person-minutes.[1] Our install time includes all amortized land clearing, road install, wiring, racking, and anchoring. Everything we do is built in a factory, rolled out to the field, and snapped together. Our innovative battery storage design also enables 24+ hour storage. That means we can deliver power to customers at 99% to 99.9% reliability, at competitive prices, built in 9-12 mo.  Next up: 30 MW of continuous power in 2027, then hundreds of MW after that. We're a team of under 20 and hiring in Austin, El Paso, and Redwood City. Come build the fastest power plants in the US with us. [1] docs.nlr.gov/docs/fy23osti/8…

This was a really smooth ride in Austin, thanks @robotaxi , @Tesla . Low jerk and jounce, and better than any Uber, Lyft, Blacklane driver I’ve ever had. Super roomy and comfy. Hoping the regulatory or navigation is approved for freeway driving and the map expands quickly. This is the future.

We lost two pregnancies a few years ago before our healthy, perfect baby girl was born. We never found out why, or what we could do to change the outcome. As NASA and SpaceX engineers, when a satellite fails, it's not acceptable and we investigate why. I was shocked at the lack of answers in miscarriages. We discovered the research simply hasn't been done, and the funding levels have been abysmal. This is why we started the Delphine Foundation. Our ambitious goal is to dramatically reduce miscarriage rates, and we're learning so much about preconception, fertility, and miscarriage science to improve outcomes. This is one of the most meaningful things I've worked on. If it resonates with you, or with someone you know, I'd be grateful if you shared with your network. 👶 🤱 👼 🛰️ 🚀 😍 delphinefoundation.org/

☀️ I brainstormed a tagline for our latest investment, Ambrosia Energy: "Sweet, sweet nectar of the sun gods!" The endgame for datacenter power is solar, but it’s held back by storage and installation costs. Ambrosia is optimizing solar + storage as a service: $100/MWh at 99.9% uptime, 100% renewable, installed within a year. The goal is to be the cheapest source of 24/7 off-grid power in the U.S., and built faster than a gas-powered plant, to gigawatt scale. One key insight: solar panel and LFP battery cell costs have fallen so dramatically that raw hardware is now only 10% of total system cost. Ambrosia is redesigning everything else, until the 10% flips to 90% of the total... affording a 9x cost advantage. Another: with Starlink, data centers can be anywhere there’s energy. With off-grid solar, that energy can be anywhere, relaxing the constraints of geography. TC: “A power plant should be able to be built at any scale in 12 months from contract signing to power on,” Sara Spangelo, co-founder and president of Ambrosia Energy, exclusively told TechCrunch. If Ambrosia can deliver at scale, the startup could upend the energy world. Today, a new combined cycle gas turbine — the most efficient type — costs around $107 per megawatt-hour to build and operate. That’s if you can get one — gas turbines currently have a five- to seven-year backlog [and grid connections can take 4-7 years]. “We’re also way more reliable than gas,” Spangelo said.” — techcrunch.com/2026/06/10/wh… • Company: @AmbrosiaEnergy --> Ambrosia.Energy • Now hiring in Austin & Redwood City: ambrosia.energy/team

You haven’t seen blue until you’ve seen Argon II blue in person. Extremely intense.
🛰 The beautiful blue plasma, and beautiful engineering of SpaceX's argon thrusters, visible in space for the first time on the giant Starlink V3 satellites (200 ft. wingspan). The backstory on the incredible advance of these thrusters (below) is my most viewed post ever.

Pretty sweet. You can’t NIMBY something that moves at 7.6 km/s.
SpaceX is partnering with @Nvidia to design the Starmind AI1 satellite compute payload. Each of the Starmind satellites will include NVIDIA Rubin GPUs and Vera CPUs for datacenter class space compute → spacex.com/spacexai/starmind

Burn baby burn! SpaceX argon thruster lit up.
The first Starlink V3 satellites in space successfully deployed their solar arrays, fired their thrusters, established connections with the Starlink constellation using radio frequencies and laser links, and captured imagery of Starship

For the first time, and with @ambrosiaenergy technology, it's possible to build 24/7 solar + battery power plants that are off-grid with a 99.9% uptime, that are also the cheapest source of new power in the US. Apply here if you are a power electronics engineer that wants to work on a clean-sheet design of our next gen 800V power system. ambrosia.energy/job-power-el…
