i actually think the way people talk about drake and kendrick online is one of the most obvious 3/4 divides you will ever find, and it’s almost always in this lens where kendrick fans argue about merit/impact and drake fans instinctively assume they will care about numbers/fame

sometimes there are weird crossover effects where 4s become acclaimed enough to be valued by 3s for their success as well (kendrick, kanye) but off the top of my head these types of artists will never be quite as famous as the tier 1 3 artists (drake, taylor swift, probably mj)

most takes i’ve seen on this are too strong but imo it’s not that depression isn’t a worthwhile topic it’s that it’s not a worthwhile topic for a 2 year old

the wokes aren’t the first people to do this- 2 year olds can’t *really* understand the christian god either, however it is more egregious. the assumption being made by both creators is that the new worldview being more correct means we have been teaching children incorrectly
