For our opponent Atiku Abubakar and his data boys to resort to propaganda, it means they have lost ideas and that we are beating them. It's very funny 🤣 😂 that the ADC has launched a full propaganda campaign against Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso. They spend money, time and energy attacking Kwankwaso from morning till night. Dear Obidients, Kwankwasiyya and NDC, it's a sign we are doing exceedingly well. Never allow the ADC propaganda to distract you. They cannot campaign for Atiku so they resort to distractions and propaganda to confuse voters. Their latest propaganda up north is that Kwankwaso is working for Tinubu and I laugh 😂🤣 because from the look of things if anyone is working for Tinubu it's Atiku Abubakar 🤷. Nwoke factory said, we should not blame them because they have nothing to campaign with. Chai 😂🤣🙆!

Nigerians are not aware that a tax law has been passed, which requires everyone to pay 25% of their earnings as tax. The National Assembly has already passed this law, and it will swing into action after the election.

Press Release NLNG Dividends: Governor Makinde stands by his claim We have read the Presidency’s response to Governor Seyi Makinde’s statement on the Federal Government’s withholding of NLNG dividends due to states and local governments. The response sidestepped the central issue: the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), with the Federal Government’s support, engaged a consultant to reconcile NLNG dividend payments. The exercise identified a shortfall of about ₦9 trillion due to states and local governments. The Federal Government accepted the findings. The report remains in the custody of both the Federal Government and the NGF. We trust the Presidency will not deny its existence. Governor Makinde is the NGF’s incumbent Vice-Chairman. The Presidency stated that NLNG had paid $21.5 billion in dividends into the Federation Account since inception, including $3 billion received under the current administration. But it did not explain how these funds were disbursed. Have states and local governments received their shares? How much did they receive, and how were those amounts calculated? What happened to the $3 billion received under this administration? Governor Makinde conducts public discourse with decorum and does not make unfounded claims or quote figures without a basis. We remain ready to provide further clarification while we urge the presidency to address the substance of the matter. Signed Dr Sulaimon Olanrewaju Special Adviser (Media) to the Governor of Oyo State October 18, 2026

PRESS STATEMENT WITHHOLDING OF RECOGNITION OF DIASPORA CHAPTERS OF THE PARTY The National Leadership of the NDC has reviewed its relationship with foreign chapters of the party operating in the diaspora and wishes to make the following clarifications: 1. The NDC wishes to withhold recognition of foreign chapters of the party in the diaspora. 2. We are deeply appreciative of the immense support of various foreign chapters in the diaspora. We are grateful for their unwavering loyalty, guidance, and contributions to the party. 3. However, as a political party committed to the virtues of accountability, transparency, and due process, we are aware of a subsisting court judgment restricting political parties from organizing foreign-based chapters. 4. In the matter between *Prof. Ali Alao v. All Progressives Congress (APC) & Anor, Suit No: CV/187/2025*, it was decided by Justice Peter Kekemeke at the FCT High Court in Maitama that, _"no political party registered in Nigeria has the legal authority to establish, operate or supervise chapters outside the country's territorial boundaries."_ The court further held that _"diaspora chapters of Nigerian political parties were illegal, unconstitutional, and unknown to the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria."_ 5. Therefore, the NDC, in deference to the said judgment, is halting recognition of foreign chapters of the party and all earlier recognitions are hereby withdrawn. 6. In jurisdictions where more than one group exists, a harmonization process has been initiated by the party to bring them under one umbrella. 7. The party is currently studying the judgment and has referred same to its Legal Department for further advice and guidance. 8. The party is aware of the tremendous interest that Nigerians in the diaspora have in our candidates, especially our presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi and we thank them and encourage them to sustain such interest with more vigour. 9. We encourage our supporters in the diaspora to continue to meet and interact, and we shall remain in touch with them through appropriate and legal channels. 10. Collectively, we must work hard to build a Nigeria of our dreams. We must rescue Nigeria from its present state of drift and hopelessness foisted on it by the rudderless APC. 11. A New Nigeria is POssible! Signed: Osa Director Esq National Publicity Secretary, NDC 18th October, 2026.

After my engagements in Manchester, I honoured another impromptu engagement in Birmingham, UK, with a group of Nigerians having their annual general meeting. Our discussions centered on achieving our collective purpose of building a New Nigeria that works for all, which is centered on tackling corruption and electing competent leaders with capacity, character, compassion and commitment, to unite, secure, and move the nation from consumption to production. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

The Judiciary I am leaving is far from the institution I voluntarily joined and desired to serve. It has become something else.” — Justice Dattijo Muhammad. Three years later, the “something else” is still here: absolute powers concentrated in one office, appointments skewed by nepotism and politics, chronic underfunding of judges while budgets swell, delayed and unpredictable judgments, and a system that too often protects the connected over the ordinary Nigerian. When the temple of justice is compromised, elections become lotteries, contracts become weapons, and the weak have nowhere to run. A nation cannot fix itself while its courts remain this broken. We must reject them in 2027.

World Poverty Day: Why Nigeria Should Have Declared Today a Public Holiday Today is the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. Sadly, Nigeria has become a symbol of the global poverty crisis. The rising poverty rate, from 40.1 per cent in 2019 to 56.2 per cent in 2023 and an estimated 63 per cent in 2026, shows how a country can move progressively backwards while those in authority appear unconcerned. Millions of Nigerians are now struggling to live, to afford food, and access healthcare. Yet, government narratives often paint a different picture. What meaning does economic growth have when citizens are getting poorer, hungrier, and more insecure? Progress must be measured by improvements in people’s lives. As poverty deepens, the government should genuinely show concern. Perhaps today should have been declared a public holiday, not for celebration, but for national reflection on how a country so richly endowed with human and natural resources has allowed poverty to overcome it. Poverty is not Nigeria’s destiny. With competent leadership, prudent management of public resources, investment in education and healthcare, and support for agriculture and small businesses, we can reverse this trend. A new Nigeria where no citizen goes to bed hungry and where every citizen lives in dignity is POssible and OK. -PO

If your husband or brother is a Keke Rider in Enugu and he’s not yet back home, he might have been arrested by Peter Mbah’s boys. All the people that refused to attend Tinubu and Peter Mbah’s one Million man match were harassed and arrested. Peter Mbah and APC has imported impunity into Enugu State and they must be stopped now.
Keke Riders you refused to obey the compulsory Tinubu one million match were either arrested or had their Keke confiscated. Nobody was allowed to work today. Everything about APC and Government is Agberoism and tyranny. These guys are worse than the military. Abacha was a good man, we were fed lies by Ibadan and British propaganda machines.

Celebrating the Clarissan Missionary Sisters: A Legacy of Faith and Service Heartiest congratulations to the Clarissan Missionary Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament on the momentous celebration of your jubilees, which commenced with Holy Mass today at the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity, Onitsha. I rejoice with you on this special occasion as you celebrate decades of faith, dedication, and selfless service to humanity. Reflecting on our shared commitment to uplifting society through education and human development, I fondly recall my support for your school, Maria Inés College, Obosi, through the provision of buses and computers to enhance mobility and facilitate learning among your students. As you continue your apostolate of forming minds, nurturing character, and empowering young people, I encourage you to remain steadfast in your mission. I firmly believe that education is one of the most powerful instruments for building a just, prosperous, and inclusive society. By investing in our people, especially the younger generation, we are laying the foundation for a Nigeria where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Together, through faith, service, and a shared commitment to human development, we can build the new Nigeria of our dreams. A new Nigeria that is POssible and OK. -PO

A Gentleman Officer’s Reflections on Service and Security Today, I began my day in Onitsha, Anambra State, with a visit to the Clarissan Missionary Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament as they celebrated their Golden Jubilee. Later, I was honoured to join other leaders at the public presentation of Beyond the Bullet: Policing Terrorism in a Democratic System, authored by the former Inspector-General of Police, MD Abubakar, PhD, CFR, at the Police Resource Centre, Jabi, Abuja. As IGP, he was remarkably accessible, always available to us around the clock and impressively responsive to emergencies. Having known him as a fine and exemplary officer, I am confident, even though I have yet to read the book, that it reflects deep professionalism and offers valuable insights into securing our nation while upholding the rule of law and human dignity. I once again congratulate the retired IGP and wish him greater success in his future endeavours as he continues to contribute to the development of our great nation. I encourage others who have served this country faithfully to share their experiences, which will undoubtedly contribute to building a New Nigeria that is POssible and OK. -PO

APC WANTS TO USE ITS FEDERAL POWER TO REMOVE NDC FROM THE BALLOT PAPER IN THE 2027 FEDERAL HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES ELECTION IN SURULERE 1! The plan has already been exposed, and I got wind of it because this is the method they intend to use to rig the election in Surulere 1 Federal Constituency by preventing NDC from appearing on the ballot paper for the 2027 election. They did it during the last federal election for the House of Representatives in Surulere 1 with the Labour Party, when the person who was the Labour Party candidate colluded with them, and the Labour Party did not appear on the ballot paper. Nothing happened because the candidate was part of the game plan. They got away with it then, and now they want to repeat it again. I am calling on the INEC Chairman, Professor Amupitan, to ensure that NDC appears on the ballot paper for the 2027 Federal House of Representatives election in Surulere 1. I am calling on the NDC National Leadership and Lagos State Leadership to be alert and take this threat seriously. I am also calling on Nigerians not to take this matter lightly. It has happened before, and they got away with it. We must not allow it to happen again! They know they cannot bribe me, and neither will I keep quiet. Oga at the top, don’t try it like you did last time ooo! Let this serve as a strong warning: we are watching, we are alert, and we will not fold our arms while anyone attempts to undermine our democratic rights. NDC must be on the ballot paper in Surulere 1 House of Representatives in 2027

OBI'S ECONOMIC MAGIC! Before Ben Murray-Bruce became Tinubu's praise singer, he once urged Nigerian leaders to go and learn from Peter Obi's Anambra State. He even warned that Nigeria could end up like Venezuela if care was not taken. Today, let's listen to Ben Murray-Bruce himself and hear what he once said about Anambra before circumstances changed his tune. The internet never forgets!

I have noted with deep concern the conduct of the ADC campaign team. The attacks directed at me, our presidential candidate His Excellency Peter Obi, and our party, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), are unnecessary and unhelpful. Rather than focusing on presenting the competence, credibility, and capacity of their own candidate as we have consistently done by placing our credentials and record of achievements before Nigerians, the ADC Presidential Campaign Council appears intent on creating mischief against our party and ticket. This includes attempts to portray us as working for the ruling party or to suggest that we may withdraw from the race in favour of the ADC candidate at the last minute. The ADC-PCC would be better served directing its energy toward rebutting the serious allegations levelled against their candidate by the Vice President, His Excellency Kashim Shettima, instead of targeting me and His Excellency Peter Obi. We are aware that the ADC-PCC may try to mislead our supporters on the eve of the election by claiming that we intend to withdraw in their favour. Let me state clearly and unequivocally: we will not withdraw our candidature for the ADC or any other party. We remain confident in our capacity, competence, and readiness to lead Nigeria. The OK ticket is neither working for nor acting on behalf of the APC or any of its candidates. We see no possibility or reason to withdraw from the presidential race in favour of the ADC candidate or any other. These claims are unfounded and should be treated as such. The APC-led government has failed Nigerians. The ADC offers no better alternative. We believe the OK ticket presents a credible and viable option, backed by proven capacity, a strong track record, credibility, and broad support across both Northern and Southern Nigeria. It is a healing ticket committed to uniting our country and tackling critical challenges in security, education, agriculture, infrastructure, healthcare, the economy, and other key sectors. We believe the NDC remains the most formidable and viable opposition party in the country. I therefore urge all our supporters and well-meaning Nigerians to continue working toward the victory of our great party. Nigeria will be OK. - RMK

The Kwankwasiyya have made it clear to INEC that if their candidate is not on the ballot in 2027, there will be no INEC in Kano State and no election. That's the way to go! The battle lines have been drawn, let's see what will happen in the coming days.
