Load testing non-HTTP protocols or using client libraries is often hard, but in Locust it is “just Python”! And bringing the tests to #Azure for hosted, distributed runs is no different!

When testing complex systems, a load testing tool without support for Tracing and Metrics is just not good enough. Locust and aiolocust have OTel support built in, with improved support in the latest releases! github.com/locustio/locust

I'm pretty convinced that folks will eventually look back at piles of .map.and_then.or_else (in any language, this is not specific to Rust!) as a big mistake, when you could just write a few imperative lines instead. It'll be like how we look at ultra-OOPy slop from the '90s.
#LoadTesting just became a lot easier! Locust now supports much simpler test scenario definitions, using pytest modules. And you can seamlessly reuse functional API tests as load tests! #Python medium.com/locust-cloud/open…
🚀 Load testing just got friction-free!
We’ve just opened up Locust Cloud Free Tier, enabling any team—startup or enterprise-scale—to spin up distributed tests in minutes and see rich reports. Give it a try today!

Used @locustio for testing CrowdTick's poll system and uncovered bottlenecks . Effortlessly simulated 1000 concurrent users, identified PostgreSQL connection limits, and optimized my backend. If you're not load testing, you're just guessing! #WebPerformance #LoadTesting #Tech

Locust just moved from Poetry to uv, reducing our build times by 50-99% (!) and eliminating the need for an extra tool to run external build steps. Thank you @charliermarsh for this awesome tool, and thank you Matthew for implementing it for our project! github.com/locustio/locust/r…
Locust is celebrating 13 years, 60 million downloads and over 25k stars on github. I caught up with @jonatanheyman to talk a little bit about how Locust came to be, and its evolution as an #OpenSource project. medium.com/locust-cloud/open…
