I remember when the George Floyd riots started making their way down here to the South and our local sheriff went on the news and told them that he would not be prosecuting any business owners or home owners that shot protestors engaged in the destruction of property.
The scheduled protest lasted about 6 hours and was confined to a single street downtown near the courthouse with everyone on their best behavior.
